In order to get the bogies ready for paint, I had to weld on the kingpin and the motor mount. And of course the axels, wheel sprockets. This is what I did in this video.

Maybe a chain tensioner could help with the chain between the two wheel sets?

Yes, may need to add that. But I probably also need to add to both sides.

Hi, Can you give me some more details on the springs you used please? Also did you cut the top off those take up bearings?

I used a 35mm long, 12mm diameter spring from 1.6mm steel. I found a seller on Aliexpress. Got a few different gauge string and this one worked OK. The top of the bearing block was cut off, machined flat and small pockets milled to keep the springs in place.
