Plopsa became famous in the entire world because of RTH, when someone says the word "plopsaland" it's the first thing that comes to mind. They should be very proud of their masterpiece and should have valorised it till the end. But instead, they decided to make a choice that goes in the exact opposite way. Making a coaster with the same model, same theme, in a better and more affordable park (holiday park, in the centre of Europe) and they even say "with a more spectacular layout". Now, what's the point of making a slightly better version (I don't think it will be better anyway, for me more intense doesn't mean better) in a more convenient park? You're undermining yourselves by doing this, not only because plopsaland will be penalised entirely (why should people go in a family park in the middle of nowhere when you got a better option in a better and nearer park?!) but also because RTH will be SMASHED by the new ride. It was really an icon in the coaster world and it will undeniabily be forgotten. I mean, for me it's ok to have another Extreme spinning coaster in Europe, after all it was really well accepted, so I could see some parks thinking about it. But man, I didn't expect this by the SAME company of parks, and I didn't expect that they're gonna copying also its theme. It's going to take away everything, EVERYTHING, from that masterpiece. And I say this because I don't see coasters simply as "machines that give you adrenaline". This specific ride isn't just a coaster, it's a work of art, the engineering, the theming, the experience... everything of it is pure art. And copying the elements that made this ride so special, means decreasing its value. That's why I say that something completely different would have worked so much better, because each of the two rides would have kept its uniqueness without damaging the identity of the other. If they really wanted another spinning coaster, at least have the originality of changing the theme, without wanting to do something better. At this point I really hope the new coaster won't have the same elements that made rth iconic (such as double inverting dive loop, top hat, jojo roll and the two final bunny hills). Otherwise, it's gonna lose its magic forever.
It'll always be special to me ❤ But I know what you're saying about the 3rd Extreme Spinner. I was a bit concerned when I read that it was going to be a "clone" of RTH. Having been to Holiday Park on this trip it definitely needs a 3rd big coaster, Expedition Ge Force is really good. There's another one which we didn't ride, but yes, if they make it different enough I think it'd be good for Holiday Park & Europe as a coaster destination. @@Coasterrestrepeat I hope its elements, especially the double inverting dive loop, the jojo roll, the final bunny hills and the top hat, will stay something unique for rth and won't be copied on the new coaster at holiday park. Rth deserves to stay something special and deserves to keep its magic alive. Those elements belong to Rth. It's already enough having copied its theme AND its model in holiday park, please don't copy also the elements that made it so iconic. Hope it will be a completely different layout, so people would still want to try both to compare. Because rth has the disvantage of being at plopsaland, a family park in the middle of nowhere, and people prefer a thousand times going to holiday park. I would like to see rth staying something that is worthy a long travel to plopsaland, because otherwise it will be slowly abandoned from enthusiasts and it would be so sad, because it deserves all the love of this world. ❤️🩹
