It was an amazing day, I've got friends in the wall and my two sons have got their friends on the wall, mine from NI and Iraq, my sons from Afghanistan. This means so much to so many people, you may have been told by if not when you heard the stairway to heaven they have families of some of the ting lads and lasses who were killed walk up the steps to lay their wreaths, really emotional to watch. I wish I'd seen you there to but you a brew, i love your videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I watched all of the families walk up and back down and could only think that I can't image what that must feel like. I dont mind saying mate that I was in tears. It's the first time that I have been and I will be going back, SO important to take the time to remember that absolute hero's have given their life and it would have been great to meet up. Next year !!!
Because you didn't serve, all veterans know about it, it's well publicised mainly for them and families/ RElatives. The cars are moRE than likely from vets, and familie members that don't ride. Hence, the choice of music, Brothers in Arms , Stairway to Heaven, Pipes and Last Post. RIP lads, REspect, see you in the Sqn Bar.
Fantastic video Scott and absolutely amazing to see so many come together to remember the fallen. Thank you for sharing this with us and really glad to see the weather gods for once were on your side. Keep up the great work.👍
Hi. Yes it was really touching how the bike community came together for such an amazing day. Can you believe I didn't get wet for once. 😂 thanks for watching 👍
I did the 40th anniversary run for the Falklands last year and the turnout for that was real big but this looks next level great video fella and documenting this we all need to remember these fellas and what they gave up for all of us !
I didn't know this existed until after the ride this year. IBy chance i saw the ride as i was headed for Bob Head near Burnley in the opposite direction, what a sight! 'll be there next year, thanks for great content.
I attended a "Run to the Wall" ride in the late 1990s. I live in the middle of the United States and the Wall is in Washington DC in the eastern United States. Once there, I stayed for several hours an the motorcycles continued to file in 3 and 4 abreast.
@1guyaharleyandadrone657 Many of the participants were Vietnam Vets. Other than the motorcycle noise, it was kinda spooky quiet. Not much talking. Our "wall" is black marble with names carved in it. Some were tracing their friends' names from the wall.
Great video, I now need to pass my bike test (on a 125cc currently) and get a lot more practice so I can join you all. Love your videos, you always make us laugh with your journeys. Hope the Harley gets through its service without losing any more bits.
I call to all attending to place focus on the current situation happening in international politics. That being the power grab of the World Health Organization to have full control over our government on , so called, health measures. We have honored those who fought for our freedoms. We we do no less?
Hi Andrew. I'm afraid I don't keep as upto date with current situations as I should. I am a great believer in paying respect to the extremely brave individuals who serve and those who have lost their lives in defence of what is right. Thanks for watching.
@@scottcoxon7335 thanks for your reply Scott.. my question was inspired by gaining knowledge of a real world issue that faces us all today and a situation that is grave to the extreme… I hope some of the dedicated followers of the RTTW movement can familiarize themselves with this cause and support those at the forefront of the struggle to keep our freedoms.
I think you said it best. I can't describe what I feel seeing the turnout of bikes for patriotism. I think Peter Gabriel said it best in a song from the group Genesis. (Paraphrasing) I feel a magic a name would stain.
Showing your age there sir, old Genesis. So much emotional from so many people in one place. Biker and armed forces communities should be proud. Great amounts of respect everywhere. Thanks Gregory.
