GRA means Government RESERVED (not Residential) Area, granted it used to be mostly residential in the pre-colonial and early post-Independence era. Interestingly, if you study history, the oldest GRAs and places like Ikoyi used to colloquially known as “European Quarters” during the colonial era. Of course, once Independence arrived, our own indigenous Nigerian ‘colonialists’ took control and continued the real estate ‘Apartheid’ of such areas.
When you do videos like this also show us wholesale shops) complex that families can wall down to in the evenings if they need to buy something. There is no need renting a place if you don't have access to groceries or shops
How is Ikeja GRA the most expensive neighbourhood on the mainland? There are no special buildings there apart from old government buildings and residential ones compared with Allen or Opebi

Ikeja GRA is probably only trails Ikoyi (including Parkview and Banana Island) and parts of VI as the most expensive district in Lagos. Even more expensive than Lekki Phase 1.
@@youme1414 the Marriott Hotel, the Radisson Blu, Cubana, Sofisticat, Duchess Hospital, Landmark Africa House, Credit Direct House, Ebeano, etc., and scores of restaurants and outlets.
@@therealist2866 Lol... Apart from Marriott hotel which can be compared with Ibis Hotel in Allen and Duchess Hospital(not even an expensive building) the rest are nothing big. Landmark Africa House is not on the league of MO Towers in Allen or many ones in Opebi.
I shot the video very late..so the sun was almost down… Also because i was riding I can’t really shoot on manual mode because i will keep checking settings every few seconds if i change direction or movement so i set it on auto mode when riding to let the camera do the setting for me… I get thats where the issue comes from.. RU-vid also have a way of compressing videos sometimes..
