Could you please let me know if there is a rear passenger foot peg that is folding, which fits into the slot on the portola? There is a 10 or 12 mm dia hole which is not threaded. So I am thinking of some washer/ locknut kind of set up.
I have the Cafe Cruiser, which I love, but would like to upgrade to the KD218 display but can’t quite figure out if it’s compatible. Ride1Up’s website states the display is only for the 700 series. I’m hoping since the CC is a newer model they just haven’t updated their website to include it’s compatibility. There is one user comment on their website which includes an issue with the not being able to access the setup screen and trip meter count continuing when bike is stationary so I just wanted to be sure purchasing wasn’t going to cause electronic issues with the bike. The 700 series and Cafe Cruiser have similar features with the integrated battery so I’m hoping this display is an option for the cruiser. I’ve watched several of your videos prior to and post-purchase of my e-bike and you do a great job explaining the features and assembly! Thank you!
Glad we could help! Give Ride1Up a call. They are a small company and very hands on. They will probably have the information about the controller for you. -JT
Has anyone had any trouble with tires popping on this? There were several reviews on their site about that. It’s a good beautiful bike but if I have to worry about flats, that’s not good.
Tire wall says to inflate to 35 BUT with a 180lbs rider and a 30lbs rear passenger the tires look flat. Currently running 37psi and it helps with the slushy feeling you get.
