Get a dedicated shock pump to adjust the pressure in the suspension fork. What you said is an adjustment dial is a cover. You have to remove it to access the adjustment valve. The rubber band is to help you judge the right amount of pressure for the weight you put on the bike (you plus cargo). Move it down and then put on your cargo and gently sit on the bike with your legs raised. The band should move up about 25% of the total amount of travel. If it moves more, increase the pressure, if it doesn’t move as much, use a fork pump to bleed some pressure out. Ride it and adjust it up or down to your liking. Regarding not getting the impression of a 100Nm versus 65Nm hub motor, it is set at the factory to slow start on both throttle and start of pedaling. You can change both of these in the settings. A more than 50% bump in peak torque is meaningful for climbing hills and acceleration. It’s why I bought mine a couple years ago. It had the highest torque output for an ebike with air suspension fork and hydraulic brakes under $2k that weighed less than the typical 65-85lbs of comparable models. While in the advanced menu, check the % motor output settings under the “power set” submenu, where you first select how many power assist levels you want to use (0-3, 1-3, 0-5, 1-5, 0-7, 1-7, 0-9, 1-9), then you can change the % motor assist of each level. Make sure the top level is as close to 100% as possible (sometimes it’s 100%, sometimes it’s 99%). Another setting to try is current cap. The maximum always sets to 20A upon turning on the bike, probably as a safety buffer to avoid burning out the 22A controller. You can temporarily increase it by first selecting the max assist level, then entering the advanced settings menu and increasing the current from 20A to 21 or 22. Do this only when riding fairly flat terrain because you risk overheating the controller if you ride up long steep hills without the buffer. But it is a hoot ripping around with it bumped up. I’ve had mine for a couple years (it’s a gen2 variant), so I envy the quieter updated motor as mine is quite noisy at lower assist levels (1 & 2 out of 7 with my configuration). Don’t know if it’s the motor or the controller and how it manages power to the motor or both that have been changed. Anyway, it warns pedestrians who aren’t tuned out by their earbuds as I approach them on shared-use paths. 😅

The video is incorrect, the menus allow you to choose up to 9 PAS settings, not 3. I have mine defaulted to 5.

I purchased my bike in July 8 months ago and have put 1,300 miles on it. Very good e-bike.

Got mine last week - same color and style and I am really happy with it. 100 miles and no issues. I like the new quieter motor as it doesn't stand out as an ebike. Headlight is pretty decent as well. Nice fair-minded review. Thanks.

I prefer the style of the 700 but definitely like the torque sensor over a cadence sensor. I want to pedal my bike, not be pushed along.

This has a great torque sensor, really good ride.

28 MPH??? That's insane :D haha. In my country, ~15mph is the max that E-bikes are allowed to drive (with support, by muscle they just have to obey the normal street laws) I wish we could higher power, as we are also have a max of 250W, which isn't always good.

I know, EU speed laws for ebikes are outdated.

I picked up the cafe cruiser for 1249$ Black Friday sale. Does your display show how many watts your putting down? Mine fluctuates from 700-950. Also there is a significant drop in performance after 60% battery
@ChrisCrossed

Yes it shows wattage

How much of a performance drop are we talking about? And how fast does your batter get down to under 60 percent?

Did yours come with the headlight? How long ago did you purchase this? It looks like the current Lmt'd on their website doesn't include lights. :C
@ChrisCrossed
@ChrisCrossed Год назад
Yes mine came with a light. They sent me one for review. Unless you have to ride at. Night you don’t really need it. Plenty of after market lights Available

The LMT'd does come with a headlight as standard equipment. If you look at their website it is listed under Components as the last entry in the second column. Front Light 60 Lux Front Light
