Your review is the only one that has addressed the issue of how hard it is to "step-through" I wish I would have watched your video before we bought one for my wife. I hope she get used to it like you have? She's already considering selling it :( Otherwise it is a great bike for the $$$. I have a 700 Series and I love it!

Thank you for this very informative, easy to understand and great review of the Turris. For a first e-bike, it has been so easy to ride and learn about the features it offers. The throttle is easy to use as well as the Shimano gear shift system. I have enjoyed all of your reviews and recommend new and veteran bikers alike watch other ebiking today reviews. 😊
I appreciate that you mentioned the difficulty with the step-through portion with regards to shorter riders! What about the seat height and pedal reach? I see Ride1Up website recommends 5'1 minimum - do you agree with that after riding it in person? Im looking for a bike for my wife who is 5'0. I'm less concerned about the step-through, but more concerned with her having a comfortable and adequate pedal reach. Thanks!
Hi Timothy! Here's the thing, the Turris and the Aventure 2 are very different. If you want a comfortable, fat tire, off-road e-bike, the Aventure is definitely the way to go! But the Turris can handle light off-road, is lighter weight, and is a very comfortable ride thanks to its design. It's more nimble than the Aventure and will turn easier due to its narrower tires. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with either... you just need to decide what kind of riding you'll be doing the most. To answer your question, the Turris is overall the most comfortable, but I love the Aventure too 😆
The position of the water cage is really bad for getting on and off this bike. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of buying a step thru design. I would find another spot to put it. Otherwise that is a lot of bike for the money.
