The keyboard part is really quite difficult, playing the actual bass line, and then playing the chords and trying to improvise all at the same time is not easy, well done that lady!
Probably the proudest I am of anything in my 20 years of life is learning to sing and play Manzarek's whole part. I can attest that the keyboard part is difficult, but for me the Incorporation of the left handed bass was one of the easier parts. The solo was very tricky though
Thank you for capturing the true spirit of Jim Morrison…. you have done so much more genuinely than others who’ve accepted the offer “officially” but who’s hearts clearly were never really in it. You are authentic
I hear a lot of nitpicking in the comments and a lot excellence in the entire band. So what if the singer acts like Jim. There’s a lot of jamming in this song. What else is he supposed to do? He sings great. The keyboardist’s playing is superlative and she’s playing Jerry Scheff AND Ray Manzarek here. Drums and guitar are also doing well here. It doesn’t, in any way, sound like a shitty bar band doing another tired cover. It sounds a lot like the Doors if you ask me.
as I said previously I loved it, just sometimes I think cover is something where you take original song and make something new with it , something of yours own, I am really looking who can invent something on top of this song.... that being said this is very accurate remake , nicely done ♡♡♡
I agree but The thing is if they were to add their own sort of originality to it, People would hate on them for not being “exact”. You can’t ever really satisfy the masses
His voice is just great! But is it really necessary trying to "act" like Morrison ??? I think....no, it`s not! It lookes like: "Wanted, but not Able"! Sorry! But as I said...he sings very cool!
