This tool is awesome, we were doing timber framing and driving 12 inch grk screws with a 4.0 amp battery. It is so quiet you can still talk to someone while driving the screws.

Sounds like the motor is quieter but also the ratcheting sound is cut in half. That seams like more of a design change than the brushless motor really? I have had jobs where the impact driver drove the homeowners crazy, this would be nice

Was that 2 Ah battery that one that was at like 25% because the voltage would be lower but with no load there should not really be no difference but depending in the amp draw and battery output there could be a difference but if they are going to include 2Ah batteries I would not expect it to draw more than they can put out

I found. Your channel doing research on Ridgid Power tools which I own a few I do not own the stealth but I do own a Ridgid brushless r86037 impact driver and I like what I see it for what it is I have a 4.0 ah on because I had wanted from a RU-vidr that had a contest and he was only given the charger with it I purchased a foreign power battery cuz when I researched home depot's website I saw the kit came with 4.0 batteries I did have a Ridgid drill Fuego Gen 4....r86008 that motor burned out and fried to trigger and the neighbor mine was getting rid of his impact I figured I could use the parts to fix that one up and said the heck with it was too much hassle so I saw that home Depot had the hammer drill on sale for $79 r861162sb yeah it only comes with two. 1.5.ah batteries in a charger no bag I already had a tool bag I use so I just put that in there with the gen-5 impact and I got the perfect kit I might just get an extra 4.0 ah battery and I'm good to go with that kit I have tools I want to head to the set are the new 330 lumen work light /flashlight and the USB charger adapter charge phones in emergency that's all I really want

How does this compare to the Milwaukee Surge?

There definitely shouldn't be a power difference between the two batteries. There should only be a difference in run time. It's really weird that it was different.
