Bobbi Brown is quite expensive; I think just with a quick look that it's worth the estimated value. It may not have been the most exciting, but everything seemed pretty useful for a change.
On antidepressants. It may take a few tries of different ones to get to one that helps you feel more like you. It doesn't take weeks to see if it's right either. If you feel off or just plain different stop taking it & call your doctor to try something different. Good luck, I tried 5 different ones before I found one that works for me. Everyone is different so just keep trying till you get there. Usually a week is all you need to see if it's right or not.

Also, I started a new med a couple months back and it made me so sleepy that I was falling asleep so my dr told me to take it at night. Maybe you could ask about that, it could be a game changer. Hey, Alexandria! I take Zoloft, and have been for some time now. The first month or so, I had annoying side effects. Like, heart burn, tiredness, and nausea. I learned that I have less/no heart burn if I take my meds while I'm positioned upright and with 4-5 gulps of water. Try not to lie down for 15 minutes or so after taking, so you dont get the throat burning. I hope you adjust to the meds, but if not, I hope you find one that works well for your body. It cant take a few tries to find the meds that work best for you. With love, Hannah.
@@TheRaukomir I agree! It makes it hard to know what works without trying, since it's entirely dependent on a person's biology and chemistry. I tried Effexor XR in the past and had the absolutely worst experience with an antidepressant. On the other hand, my friend takes it and has had a great response to it!

Alexandria, I’m sorry you’re struggling with the new medication. I know personally how hard it is. I know it’s rough, but hang in there sweetie. And if it you don’t begin to feel better after a few months, don’t hesitate to let your doctor know. Sometimes it’s a matter of fussing with the dosage, or even trying a different medication. My point is, hang tight for a little while, but not too long if it’s still feeling the way it does now. Thanks for thinking of us even though you’re not feeling 100% yourself - we love you no matter what!

Yeah the Bobbi Brown face bace is very popular! I used to love it.. Till I noticed it didn't really do anything 😭 I absolutely adore the smell because it's lemon grass! That was really the only reason I ever used it but.. When I think Bobbi Brown I think the face base though it is unreasonably expensive for the amount you get Goes for any of their products really, 'quality' over quantity

You're never awkward ❤ I was dealing with really bad anxiety myself at one point that it was causing my blood pressure to go up. Doctor put me on anxiety meds and it made me emotionaless. Wasn't happy or sad just felt 🫤 I told the Dr how I was feeling and he lowered the dose. I took it for two months and just decided it wasn't for me. So I say all that to say I get. Maybe talk to your Dr to see if a lower dose can help.

The shimmer bricks are highlighters and were a really popular item 10 years ago. That’s why Physician’s Formula and other brands made dupes. I still have a pink one which I mostly use for highlighter or as a subtle shimmery blush. Also, I wonder if the brush was intended for the shimmer brick and other highlighter. In my experience, Bobbi Brown’s brushes are denser than what we typically use today for powder products.

Girl, you have got to start washing your makeup off before you go to bed. It will really help your skin. Wash, moisturize. I was having a lot of the same issues as you and I started washing my makeup off and moisturizing every night and then washing and moisturizing every morning and it has made such a huge difference. I don't peel or break out anymore.
You don’t seem awkward to me but I can understand if you feel that way. Getting used to new medication can be hard. I know when I started on my anti-anxiety medication it was weird for awhile. I went through several different ones before I settled on the one I’m on now, Cymbalta. It acts as a nerve pain medication as well. I have fibromyalgia and chronic nerve pain in my leg as well. As you may have read by now in your comments there are a lot of us in here that can relate to you and so there’s no judgement at all. You are safe with us my dear. We love you and your little family and have only your best interests at heart. We love the advent calendars too so keep them coming lol ❤
