Cyllene: flip 2 coins, put that many cards from the discard on top of the deck. Morpeko: peek at your top card, discard if you choose. Malamar: peek at both top cards.
Here's another Slowking combo for the Expanded format. Use the Magcargo from Celestial Storm to put any card from your deck on the top of it then use Slowking's attack. You can guarantee any non-rulebox pokemon you want. Amazing Rare Yveltal anyone? That isn't a Rulebox pokemon and it can OHKO anything without any drawbacks
So how I think this could be built is to have 3-4 consistent attackers in the deck, and then dump a lot of situational cards in there. Perhaps play a full 4 of iono or play skowvet to pull cards away from your hand and into your deck to be retrieved by the stadium. I love toolbox decks and this sounds so fun to just build.
The stadium puts a card from your hand on top of your deck so you don’t want to iono attackers back into the deck. If anything play a ton of ultra balls and capturing aromas to search out attackers to then place on top of the deck
Also maybe poregon z as a late game attack that you stack a bunch of energy on to smash also these more gimmicky but cool option could be cyclizard that give iminity on a coin flip and kingdra that snipe s for big damage. Overall, I am very hyped for this card. This may be my main deck, lol. Finally, what do you guys think would be the best ace spec for this card?
Ribombee dk what set it’s from does 30 and if you knock out the defending pokemon on your next turn you take 2 more prize cards paired w crobat could be insane and alakazam plus kyurem will also be amazing
Reuniclus summoning gate could be a useful tech in slowbox to put any utility mon or another slowking straight on the bench. Grab it and a friend with ciphermaniac and put any crazy stage 2 you want in play without having to run rare candy
Yep. For more fun, follow up with the Crobat that does 30 damage to anything so they can't hide by retreating and takes two extra prizes if it takes a knockout
I actually play conkeldurr with my conkledurr deck. I like it Pokemons that can be good for slowking: Scizor (the one it gets stronger with more pokemon with abilities from your opponent) Temporal Forces Feraligatr Torterra (the one that does more damage per evolution mons you have in play)
This seems mega-clunky, but I’m looking forward to it. I adored the Zoroark from Evolving Skies because it made bulk cards relevant. It brought value to the card pool. Tool boxes like that/this should always be present in the format IMO.
Actually, this might be a fun way to facilitate Unified Minds Chandelure since that deck already wants you to run a high density of Pokemon. Mind you, it wants Fire Pokemon so this isn't perfect, but this card looks really good in decks that just run a whole bunch of powerful Pokemon. Even better, copy Plasma Blast Cradily and drop 2 stage 2s directly onto your bench
I'm playing chandelier sometimes :(, it's better as mill (and the other that discards the top 3 cards of opponents deck when evolves), with the attack as extra pressure
