Rickenbacker made the banjo to capitalize on bluegrass banjo player Doug Dillard's brief association with the Byrds when the band began its country rock period. I remember Dillard years later in an interview saying that one reason for the instrument's failure was that it didn't sound like a banjo. That's because it wasn't. It was a guitar, albeit one with an odd string configuration.

Ric made the Bantar for a guy named Eddie Peabody. They also made a "Banjoline" for him that was a guitar shape. leo Fender made him a Banjo Mustang. Eddie was around from the 30's and was an electric guitar pioneer.

Back in 2000 when I was living in Vancouver, I saw them open for 7 Seconds and they absolutely DESTROYED the crowd. After their set, I immediately bought 2 or 3 cds from the merch table and really miss those guys. After I got my first pc, theirs was one of the first ever message boards I joined.

I did the legwork (curiosity was killing me) you first did the “Colt 45” guitar on a livestream around episode 47. So only 10 months ago and it was listed a grand higher than right now.

The FDC is a variation of Gibson "Theodore" (tulip) guitar with headstock variation of a banjo from a brand I can't remember the name of at the moment. They're definitely in danger of getting a cease & desist request from Gibson. But then who isn't?

The Squier Strat looks like somebody saw an old Ibanez Ergodyne bass and though - you know what would be a great guitar design... - and then did it to a Strat. Sensibly priced though...

That guy here in Seattle, Don Bennett’s drum vault (literally have never heard of him) somehow has ALLLL of aerosmith’s gear from the 80’s and 90’s. It’s so odd to be a “drum vault” but you have Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford’s amps they used for “Livin on the edge”

Trust me, there's collectors that will pay it. You'd be shocked. Try buying a Ritchie Blackmore pick. I've seen one sell for over $10000 on eBay. They are extremely rare and they are sold after by collectors. It's a home plate pick.
