oh my god!!! i just had someone in India try a Microsft tech support scam on me. I must have kept him on the line for at least 35 - 40 minutes. I was playing dumb and leading him on so bad! Your videos inspired me because you are so damn good at it. It was so much fun. Admittedly, I couldn't do a good as job as you do, but for a first try I pretty proud of myself!

@@thepanthion I just meant to make sure they weren't scam baiting on their actual computer or while using their actual phone number. These youtubers use spoofed (fake) numbers that can't be traced and virtual machines that can easily be repaired if the scammer actually has some computer knowledge to protect themselves and their computer

I called a number given in a voicemail and kept them on the line for over an hour. They got fed up and hung up when I kept repeating what they were telling me. They finally asked why I was repeating them and I said that they are talking to a parrot.

I have to say that besides the things they say, and HH's funny as.... responses, I'm convinced that the videos would be funny, but not as funny without the cartoon drawings. I am an indian and i really pity these scammers and feel really bad for the victims. They sometimes scam us too! Many are put behind bars but once they are released, they continue the same. That is really really awful! kambiz I've seen a couple pictures of these call centers and they just have rows and rows of people sandwiched in. There's about 2-3 feet, if they're lucky, on either side. They have just enough room for their 17 year old donated I Macs.

Everytime I hear these people speak...it makes me wonder how they think that their unprofessional speech and behaviors on the phone would be believed! Michelle JKB Yes. As of right now the only true contact from microsoft that hoax has access to is Randy. His dad also works for the FBI and im sure at some point they discussed the funds with james comey. That's the only way the FBI and IRS can turn his tax filings into activations mode.

The script, the crappy dialect and hilarious fake names it's all pure gold. I got a call from on of these Microsoft scammers a few werks ago while i was on holiday. After i told him that he wished me a good holiday and just hung up.

Dude, you are good at keeping it together and stringing them along! The longest I ever kept in character was about 15 minutes. I usually start laughing and lose it after 5 minutes or so and blow my cover. But that's 5 minutes that particular tapeworm wasn't trying to scam someone else.
