If you close your eyes and listen to this it hard to believe this is not 1970's REO. The lead singer absolutely nailed this.Great performance by everyone in the band.
yes i 100% percent agree back in the 80s me and my husband gary's wife debbie went to a bar in calabasas with him just so he could hear a LA band cover his stuff he would have really enjoyed this one,, thanks for the mention jack

Drummer never misses a lick... but then the others don't either..This is probably the best band I had never heard of until a few days ago.. I listen pretty regular now.. Great job.
First off, these guys Freaking ROCK! Totally kicked this songs Ass. Secondly, "DoucheRocket Kevin Cronin" can only dream of singing as good as that dude. This song just got added to my Playlist.

Congratulations Matty!! I am an REO Speedwagon fan through and through and I thoroughly enjoyed your VOCALS and the rest of the band nailed Gary Richrath's masterpiece Ridin the Storm Out. Sort of reminds me of Mike Murphy's version, which is a very good (early) version of RTSO. Very talented vocalist, ever thought of kicking Kevin Cronin out...quite a few people, including myself wouldn't mind. He's run his course. Haven't seen or listened to them since the departure of Gary, RTSO, one of his masterpieces.Agree!! Should have a lot more views, real nice job!

Wow I’ve watched 5 videos now. The algorithm keeps feeding me more. I’m glad it is! This band reminds me of the kind of quality bands I was privileged to see in local bars in the 70s. (Saw Talas and Billy Sheehan and others so many times back in the day) I feel bad for the younger generation. They are missing out on the fun of going to see a band like this in a bar or at a park. So far tonight, I've just been watching all your videos. Great playing everyone. Special koodos to the bass and the lead player. Not easy to emulate Gary Richrath. You guys are giving the Lexington Lab band a good run for their money and you guys are live.
Very impressed with the vocals here. I've been working on playing and singing this one and there's no way I can get close to Cronin's voice like the singer here can. I gotta shoot for the earlier version before Cronin joined back to sing with the band. This is a fun one to play. That said, I'm impressed with the whole band here. Nice jam guys and you're having fun.
Wow. Wish I had discovered you guys sooner! Vocalist sounds about as close to Kevin as you can get. Great guitar work, great bass player. Seems like you've got 2 lead guitar quality players, and a super drummer. And keyboards of course. All superb. nd good to hear really musicians playing really good music

Outstanding performance! Havig watched many of these videos, this is by far my favorite vocals by Matty Baker. Rhythm section was outstanding! Would have loved to hear that LesPaul screaming out Gary's solo like he did back in the glory days of REO, but you guys did it justice regardless.
A very good rendition by a talented band. The very best part......Did Not have to listen to Kevin Cronin enjoy hearing himself talk for ten minutes before it started. He likes to tell the story about a storm and him and the band. The song was there long before his whiney self. 👌
Great job. i never realized how important Alan the drummer was to the band. Your drummer did great, it makes it fun with the rolls. I myself am a keyboard player, not a drummer. I can tell the guitarist did their homework. Singer did an awesome job too. Never easy to copy the masters' perfect version.
