I'm a BMW R65 rider and I love your ride and videos.I have not seen much else that is so entertaining and inspiring in the hundreds of motorcycle touring videos on RU-vid. It is funny that in all the searches of moto-touring I've done, your videos have not come up, but I suppose you've only put them up in the last couple of months. Anyway this is world changing travel reportage, thank you.
Ed has a strange knack of breaking down and hey presto! He's only 20 yards away from a fully equipped workshop and the most competent and obliging mechanics in the whole country. With that totally shagged front suspension most of us would be off, break a wrist bone and that's it. You're knackered. But oh no not our Ed. He also manages to find the one woman on the entire planet who looks good in a bikini AND can change a tyre. Amazin'!
I only just found your channel, via the C90 through India episode, and I'm now binge watching all your episodes hoping it'll never stop! I've always wanted to do a similar adventure but work got in the way, then family and kids, and eventually an accident rendering me pretty incapable to ever get on a motorcycle again, let alone any travelling, but perhaps one day with some at the moment unknown surgery procedures and who knows what strange idea coming over me and I might do some adventuring in the end? India perhaps not but Iran seemed ever so friendly. I've travelled a lot already but flying everywhere for meetings etc. and always thinking what the places were really like outside those office meetings? Many thanks for making these videos - and for being brutally honest as you travel!

Ed- we saw you a couple of years ago in ripley (prior to your trip). we have been following your adventure & you sir edward,have inspired my 12 year old son to complerte a similar trip as he gets 18. I noted you are without house. If you would like to come to stay in York for a week or so- you are more than welcome- garage, food and bed supplied,but alas no people praying throughout the night...unless that is you snore!..let me know Rod

Just a question. What kind if oil does he use. Some friends and I still own Honda 3 wheelers. Big Reds. One guy uses 15 40 or used oil. And the rest of us still use straight 30. Just wandering?
+v8consumption He was going to ride through Pakistan from India, but I think his visa got rejected when in Delhi (he briefly said in the India video). That's why he decided to ride down to Mumbai so he could fly to Dubai. From Dubai he went to Iran and then Turkey.
Why a C90? That bike is interesting ... My choice for traveling is the bomb proof HONDA XR650L ... If your ever in the High Eastern Sierra I'll let you borrow mine to explore the area.. Yosemite, Death Valley. ? message me
