Absolutely LOVED this scooter series! Your own enthusiasm and excitement on the road is contagious. The PNW is a bucket list trip for me. Being disabled, I’ll never be able to hike that last trail you took, but I’m glad YOU got to do the hike for me so I could enjoy that stunning scenery! 😊 I’d love to see that lighthouse up close! Great series - and hypnotizing footage and editing - as always! ❤

I grew up with this Pacific Coast as my "playground." Although it has changed beyond recognition, I still enjoyed seeing it through his eyes. If you want to watch another adventure channel that is brought totally to life, have you watched Noraly? AKA: Itchy Boots. She travels the world on her motorcycles. If you enjoy adventure, she presents her channel in a "do NOT miss" forum!

Hey! I live in WA and have mobility issues. My favorite place to drive through is highway 20 from Marblemount to Winthrop. Gorgeous mt views! You'll love it if you go. I'd also recommend chuckanut drive from bow edison to Fairhaven and Also taking highway 101 around the peninsula (especially if you take one of the ferries when you go). Hope you get a chance to visit!

Absolutely beautiful. We went as far Crater Lake. When we got there and looked out over the lake I cried. Also we have a van. It would’ve cost us $1040 in gas driving 2700 miles! You’re definitely doing it the cheaper way😂 thank you for sharing. I wish you would have taken a picture with your brother. I get why you didn’t 😊

I took that hike out to Cape Flattery several years ago for sunset, and the view was amazing. Hiking back up the hill in the dark without a head lamp (silly me), not so much. Being a city boy, my head kept spinning around like that of an owl's as I'm looking for "lions and tigers and bears, oh my!" sneaking up in the shadows. Fortunately, I didn't come across so much as as squirrel on my hike back. Great series.

These scooter videos were excellent, plus this one was a trip down memory lane since I lived in Washington for so many years. Cape Flattery is just so spectacular. On one trip, maybe around 2015, a friend and I got to the end of the trail and I was starting to climb up to the last viewpoint...and some guy was on his knee proposing to his girlfriend. What an amazing place for that! Good thing she said yes. And a cool moment to accidentally witness. Highway 20 across northern Washington is a truly overlooked gem from end to end. I drove a portion of it last summer on my yearly trip back to Washington. So much of this footage just got me all nostalgic for the many roadtrips I took around the state.

I saw thee tent, and immediately knew where it was. That's our valley's favorite road. I've ridden my bicycle up and down that beast many times. It's a hoot on the way down! What you missed, was going all the way to the top of the mountain. Absolutely super old fire lookout that is available rent from thee forest service. The views are astonishing. It's perched on the edge of a cliff. And you could have waved at my house in the valley below from that ridge. :) "Hi!"

Thank you Tristan. I’ve enjoyed this entire series so much, but particularly this portion of the adventure. I grew up in Edmonds. You’ve inspired me to get back to Washington and see all that I never saw while living there. Isn’t it always amazing how much we miss of the area right around us. If you get back to Washington again I can recommend visiting the San Juan Islands. Lots of fascinating history there. Safe travels to you.

I agree on visiting the San Juans. Nothing like it in the US. We like to take relatives who dare to come here to WA out to Orcas Island, drive up Mount Constitution there, and climb the rock tower for a spectacular panoramic view of ocean, islands, and the mountains. Much preferred to the usual WA traveler's destination of Seattle, which we avoid with a passion.

Cape Flattery is one of my favorite places on the planet. There are large ropes that you can use to get to those caves some of them have waves that come threw the other side and in hightide are filled with water you will sometimes see star fish on the walls. it's an amazing place. The lack of people put it over the top 10 out of 10 Thank you I have really enjoyed this trip right along with you. I never thought you would sell that scooter. $143 for gas ain't bad. My husband had two sisters that both lived in Tonasket, Washington and raised their families there. If you had turned north on Hwy 97 you would've been in Okanogan Valley along the Okanogan River. It is the heart of Washington apple orchards country. Also Washington cherries are grown there. One of the sisters owned a 37 acre apple orchard in her younger years. We visited them every summer and camped beside them for a week or two. Only 16 miles from the Canadian border. Beautiful rugged country!!

Thanks for sharing your scooter adventures! It was great to see you enjoying some old stomping grounds. Wow, Cape Flattery! YEARS ago we hiked that trail several times and there were no planked walks, no decked viewpoints, no rail fencing around the huge drop-offs into the rocks and waves below! Quite a bit on the scary side, but oh so worth it, as it still is, such a gorgeous impressive place. And it wasn't clouded over, you got to see Tatoosh Island! Congrats on your fun adventure!

You definitely captured the feel of the journey rather than just the destination. We took a 61 day trip this spring with a small 17' teardrop trailer putting about 11,000 miles on the truck. Basically Maine to Big Bend and Guadalupe in Texas then New Mexico to Colorado up to the Tetons and west to Washington State, east to Glacier and then into Canada for Lake Louise and Banff before returning to Maine. We passed through Leavenworth (camped in the next town east in Cashmere) but didn't stop as we had on a 2018 trip. We did drive to the Washington coast at Deception Pass. It looks like you had fun, wish we had gone to that farthest point west on the coast.

The reasons why a lot of these roads end in the middle of nowhere is when Congress passed the Wilderness Act of 1964 where no more roads could be built into the forest or Wilderness areas so a lot of them just stopped where they were. These type of roads are all over Washington State. They can maintain them but they can't extend them or make new ones. Those are Apple Orchards mostly. The best hike in Washington is just up the road behind Leavenworth. It's called The Enchantments. You just drove right past it off Icicle Creek Road. You need to come back and hike it someday. It's 22 miles long. You will not regret it. My favorite hike in all of Washington State where I have hiked for 33 years.

Truly an adventure for sure! I am loving the Washington segment as that is my favorite state beside my home state of Michigan. We have been to a few of the places in this video as well. Your rain forest campsite was exquisite. Thanks for letting me tag along in this video.

Kinda wish I had taken that Tyee Ridge Rd a couple of weeks ago when I was there. Welcome to the Olympic Peninsula. Always fun to see you in my area.

@@user-qr8ki8ue4i I stayed on Entiat and camped at Lake Creek CG. Beautiful area. All those east side river valleys are wonderful with the tumbling water. I'll definitely make my way back there and take the Mad River Road.

@@pala4833 Lake creek CG is just the start. The road (Entiat River Road) ends at the "back door" to the Glacier Peak Wilderness. I've lived here for 20 years. Moved here from Wyoming for work. It's the closest to my beloved Wyoming as I can get. I'm so fortunate.

We rode that road on our ADV motorcycles two weeks ago. The road up to the lookout is very rough, but the paved part had a real flow to it. Safe travels!!
