In this episode on Tekniq, We will journey through the world on vehicles locally produced from wood to carry wood, and other various materials for commercial purposes.
Growing up in the Third World taught me two lessons. 1. Do what you can with what you have from right where you are. 2. Since I cannot have what I like, I like what I have. If you look at life this way, half of your battles and stresses are over.
I think about stuff like that a lot, there are dudes that if you gave them real good tools, they'd completely change the game going off what they're doing with essentially garbage
Don't worry Jase I'm with you dude. "Pimp my Trike" or "Mad Max meets Bali." In Thailand that sort of engineering is called "Thai Style" by the farang. I have also seen a Drag Race Team in Thailand called "Safety 5th" and flip flops are called "Thai Safety Boots". But Thailand like most Asian countries are extreme polluters of this world compared to the west. China is over the top bad. Have a good one. 👍
just look at the wobbly wheels. And the kids riding in this death trap. I mean, a used car for 1000EUR will get you more safety than this. And yeah, you are able to do sth. like this - you a) have to get permits or b) do it illegally and face consequences.

The clutch design of the train's belt drive is impressive and smart, so simple yet effective, i'm stokedd. To engage the clutch just slide the whole engine away from the axle to tighten that belt putting tension on it, ito open the clutch slide the engine forward a bit. Clever.
@@chE3z1 had to do some google / youtube research to see and understand what you reffered to, and yes, there's some similarities on how the clutch works with the belt friction, true. And was interesting to see and learn how they implemented it on lawnmowers. But still by far not as genius as that "train's" simple belt drive consisting of only three parts (engine, belt, axle) and the brilliant idea of a movable engine. It's even kind of self-adjusting, still works fine with worn out belts from the scrapyard ^^, thanks for pointing me at the lawnmower belt drive, just learned something new 👍
@@nopadelik9286THats how we did it when we put the tiller motor on the luggage rack on my sisters bike. I used her hairspray to keep the belt from slipping as much:)
You have to respect the ingenuity of the human race, and if you don’t just look around in the city, the structures that we build cars and airplanes flying around. Respect.👍🏿💪🏿
Ржавая и древняя Веспа с коляской на 4-х колесах - это жесть! Деревянный самокат - это вообще номер! Но дедушка с дровами на санках,по земле, это вообще в шок повергло! Вот это механизация!

the riders had there faces blurred out and so lost the HONOR of riding the train....I would consider it a great privilege to have been a passenger and would gladly donate to their endeavors.....................
@@cody5495The US has quickly became a shit hole…like the one Trump talked about! Work on the crime, poverty and homelessness before you rave about how great the US is. Not to mention the growing violence.
Nope, just wood on metal (or even wood on wood). Lovely thing about wood is it will compress and actually get rather smooth. Add some oil or grease to reduce the friction and it works just fine so long as there isn't too much speed to make a lot of friction and heat.... It's how old wagons did it.
now this is freedom, in the us we cant even have classic cars as projects on our own property... they just call the county and steal it from you, then scrap it or auction it off... 😔
Go live there if you think it's so great to have no rules. I don't know where you, but I live in Pa. and there are plenty of people with yards full of old cars. If you live were there's an HOA that's your fault.
@@Woody_Florida As you go further south you see more and more junk in peoples yards. Something breaks, it gets moved to the front porch, then once they give up all hope of fixing it, it goes in the yard. They leave broken vehicles in the driveway till they give up hope of fixing it, then it goes in the yard.
@bigredc222 pretty much. But hey, I would hate to scrap my old truck and then me or a neighbor needs a part from it. I figure old trucks are like money in the bank. If I ever need a few bucks quick I can always scrap it.
I had a 91 F-250 for 25 years, the last ten it mostly sat, I drove less than 1000 miles a year. It was just rusting away from sitting so I finally sold it to a kid. I figured at least it will get used, and for the rare times I need a truck I get one of my friends with a truck to help.
As a kid living on Long Island in the sixties and early seventies we would build things from lawn mower engines, and any wheels we could find. We built mini bikes, go carts etc. had to use our imagination and there weren’t that many cops around. Dad would get mad we used his tools but that’s what sons do to their dads 😅.
Terrível,,em muitos países esses veículos JAMAIS poderiam ser usados ,,, seriam apreendidos e os condutores presos pela irresponsabilidade,,, porém A realidade deles é infelizmente essa aí.....
Some context of where this is, who they are. Especially the wooden cycles. would be extremely useful. Where abouts in Indonesia is the filming taken place.

The level of poverty among these people is staggering. they can't even afford the cheapest Chinese bike for a few dollars. In Europe, during the early Middle Ages, 1500 years ago, they used carts with wooden wheels, and they can barely make something with wheels.
Put oil in AFTER you filled up ✅ 4 stroke engine oil in a 2 stroke tank ✅ neutered engine because of crap exhaust designed for a 4 stroke engine ✅ carry around enough dead tires and trash that you have to push up hills ✅ thinking you're the coolest whilst annoying everyone else on the road with noise and smoke of a dying 2stroke engine✅✅ 🤦♂
I wish we could do this in Canada, I would totally build a bad ass hog that would rip! That is one bad ass wooden biker gang, they need some leather vests with Bamboo M.C on the back Or Cedar choppers!
Jesus is the only way humbly ask God to reveal himself to you and he will eternity is a long time. Don't you want to know for sure where you will spend your eternity.. God made it free and easy. There will be no excuses
I was skeptical at first what this was going to be. Was pleasantly surprised at people still showing off their "figure it out". I would have to say that most Americans have lost touch with their "figure it out" and will find out too late the hazards of that skill set missing.
So ähnlich wie Harley Davidson denn wenn die Bauern Buben aus der Scheune alte Teile finden machen sie eine Harley Davidson 👍🤣☝️oder etwas ähnliches ☝️🤣👍
Why make them so heavy tho'? There is loads of heavy metal that could be cut out of the panel work and other places making them lighter and faster and better.
Such a shame these type of people always ran at night with no light at all in the city.. I almost hit one of those because they're very low and not using light at all..
