She was young, yes. But she did have time to know her mother and have her as an example for parenting. I don’t know much about Aemma, but I imagine Rhaenyra was especially precious to her after losing her other children.

she would have been contented as a wife to a man younger than her best friend's father. or just as rhaenyra's handmaiden. in truth she never wanted spotlight, she just wanted a tranquil life & she certainly would've never gotten that at the targaryen court.

She was just hateful to her children because of her childhood was ripped away from her and the reason her babies were there was because of a greater purpose that made her hate every second of it (marrying and fucking the old nasty King). @@AveryBui1402 to be honest she isn't the worst mother we've gotten in the asoiaf universe. & it's honestly understandable she was never properly able to come into motherhood as she was still a child when she had her children; she grew up alongside them. she isn't perfect by any means but she does love her children, i don't think she hates them. specially helaena, her clear favorite.

@@jyotirani8187 i am not sure. i don't think helaena will exactly resent her, as there was literally nothing alicent could've done to prevent what happened. but she'll probably won't feel as safe in alicent's chambers as before (she ran straight there, as she visits regularly & is probably one of the few places she feels safe in). but given what we've been shown in the trailer with jaehaerys' funeral, she doesn't seem to not care for her mother anymore (she reaches for alicent's hand while running).

Yeah she got to do everything! Yes, very sad at times but a very exciting life. Mother, Dragonrider, and Queen. Ain’t too shabby.

At least mothers are appreciated by their children the sacrifice they make is for someone who will forever love and cherish them while these soldiers die for Kings who don't give a single f about them and peasants who only care about their food and their own families, when you die a soldier you become nothing but a number a casualty as they say when you die for your children your blood is forever immortalised for people who will forever remember and mourn you

Not having babies is your choice and definitely you do what you want thats your right. However, many accomplished people with the greatest plans also had children so we might wanna not put down people who want children.
