Thanks for sharing the ride in your area. Here in London, Ontario it got dark enough for the street lights to turn on. It was cool to see. Not far from here it got 100% and dark.
It did look darker. I was thinking if you had the camera on auto-exposure we wouldn't see the difference. Also - cloud and rain during astronomical events - that happens Every Single Time over here. A lunar eclipse is when the Moon crosses into the Earth's shadow. I would say it makes the Moon go a dark reddish colour, but, of course, because of the aforementioned meteorology, I've NEVER SEEN IT. As an exception to the rule, in 1999, when the UK did actually get a full Solar eclipse, my family managed to find the one campsite in the country that did get a break in the clouds. It was spectacular. Seriously, next time you get one in the U.S., travel to see it. It's well worth it.
Bummer about the cloud cover. The clouds broke right before the eclipse here, but I was working, so didn't get to go outside. Thanks for trying anyway, and sharing it with us! How much sharpness did you have to add in Resolve?
