Great Vid Will! Planning a ride up there soon. Whats it like in riding in the wet and what type of soil is it? My local is Surrey Hills but its a bit too soggy atm. Cheers 👍
Hi mate, the soil is sandy and loamy mostly which makes it pretty easy to wash off - still good fun in the wet too. It’s worth keeping in mind that most of the trails in the video are now unrideable now due to forestry works and the one in the thumbnail is completely destroyed unfortunately. The other areas of Cannock are riding well atm though👍
Hey bud! Nice vids! Question - is the run that starts at 5:01 up the same path as the run that starts at 7:14 (up the fire road past a specific stage on the monkey 😉)
No not quite, if you go back down that fire road and go straight through where all the fire roads meet, you will go parallel for to the end of the climb on the monkey, follow that narrow fire road down until your first left and go up that hill until you see a small off piste looking track going into the right. That’s where it is👍
Could anyone tell me where the trails starting 3:15 and 4:04 are please ? And green spade? Like a rough area or anything would be nice, I ride up there quite a lot so would be able to find them easily enough. If it helps I know where blue spade is
