I think you did great for your first time, you speak and deliver well on stage and can drive a story.. I watch a lot of stand up comedy too and I can tell you have some real potential. All I can say is I think you should just take your time coz you kinda sounded like you were rushing at times but hey it's your first time I get it.

Thank you so much! I was definitely hurrying because they told me it was a 5 minute slot and I felt bad going over… thankful they let me go for a full 10! Pacing is challenging!! Haha

Ya, didn't get that myself. Unnecessary, since it didn't add anything to his narrative. For his 1st stage presentation though, his delivery was strong. Do agree just needs a pause in right place & a little more animation to his story telling. Having been at those horse shows (spectator only), I felt for him. Used to love horses. But met so many stuck up "horse ppl" that I just don't care anymore.
