The flagship of the Lexus line is the beautiful LS 600h L (www.lexus.com/models/LS-hybrid). With the optional Executive-Class seating in the back, it's more like a limo with rear seats that recline, Shiatsu massage you and offer an ottoman.
This Japanese Bentley is filled with an amazing array of luxury goodies and technology and powered by an awesome 5.0L V8 with a Lexus hybrid drive motor to offer good fuel economy and 438 HP.

I haven't driven any others but I'm sure the newest model uses the latest suspension tech from Lexus and is probably smoother.

Good question. I don't know a lot about the S class, but if I was driving the car, I would probably get an S-class. If I had a driver, I would pick the Lexus.

Gone are the days of traditional car reviews whereby you see more car and spec sheets/ numbers vs some guy talking about the vehicle as if he’s the one that built it. If I want to hear someone rant about the car I can simply go visit the local dealer and get the first over zealous salesman to tell me what he thinks......

vadim nesen did you add the Executive Package and the hybrid engine? This was a few years ago, current model may be cheaper. I just had the 2018 LS 500 with Executive Package, it was $107K with twin turbo V6, not hybrid.

Rather huge reliability difference between the two. And you would need to buy an XJ with an extended wheelbase or other package that included all that space, rear monitors and the other amenities.

Right. Only youtube. Never on top gear, never on the grand tour. Never any enthusiasts who want the ability to tune the car from the drivers seat? Drive modes allow you to shut the car up if you like. Put it in eco and enjoy. The rest of us want a balance.
