My, how times have changed. Apple has approved Survivalcraft for the 1.21 update. I wish they have approved it in the beginning, like the very first update in November 2011! Back then, there were no cats, no mounts, so you can’t travel efficiently and run away from fast predators like werewolves. There was no hunger, food just healed you up back then, and there was no stamina, so you could run as far as you can and swim as long as you want, and in the first few versions, the only creature is you. There were no other creatures. You were the only one. That is, until the 1.5 update, in which there were birds. In the 1.7 update, wild boars were added. The first version in Survivalcraft had no tools, and in the first few versions, iron was the most powerful tool. There was no Recipaeda in the 1.0 (the first version), so you had to figure out the recipes. 1.6 was a bug fix release. There was a big with loading old worlds, the spears were a little too fast, you could stab yourself in sneak mode and your health never regenerated. All of these were fixed in said release. In 1.8, Creative mode was added, and in 1.7, you could change between 3 modes, Harmless, Challenging and Cruel. The former is that health regenerated faster, animals only attacked you if you hit them, and digging is faster. Falls were also less deadly. The middle is the vanilla mode. Animals attacked you if you got too close. And the latter is the same as Challenging, except if you die, your world would be lost. In versions before 1.9, you could only have 4 worlds. The next version had bulls added, and Adventure mode was added. This mode is that you cannot dig any blocks without the proper tools. In later versions, you could restart the adventure. 1.12 saw the addition of cows and flat terrain. In 1.13, animals remain if you leave the area. In older versions, animals would disappear if you got too far. This is a problem for farms. Now they no longer do that. Machetes were added in the 1.15 update. Older versions force you to use a spear for every hunting trip. Next version saw paint. In said version, you could eat paint without getting sick. Next version fixed that. Different cameras, 3D tools and creature shadows were also added. Next version saw rain, snowstorms and lightning being added. Werewolves were also added. Electricity was added in next release. A new Recipaeda, along with germanium and a more robust saving system was also added. Next versions added coal blocks (Naughty, anyone?), storms were less frequent, and a new cave system was added. The next version is the first Apple version, with a new hero model, mounts and a whole lot more. Next version added farming and more animals. Next one has added trap generation, and a lot more. Next one has bows, tigers, and a new Christmas tree. Next version added debris, and crossbows. The next version added clothing and armor, and a new Vital Stats Screen. Belugas were also added. Next version added campfires, moose and a new engine. Next one added musket (which I was very exited about), and fireworks, just in time for New Year 2016. Next one was a HUGE update, and the last one for the first Survivalcraft. A new app called Survivalcraft 2 came out just in time for Christmas 2016. This added furniture, bisons, player stats, and a whole lot more! And the current release added splitscreen multiplayer, 3D food models, experience, menu music, rivers and a whole lot more. Then they release Bugs, a very hard tower defence clone. And Kaalus remained silent for more than a year. Now, recently, in Christmas 2018, Kaalus not only released a game called Ruthless Conquest (a game where you take over rival planets with ships, has online multiplayer, currently not on iOS yet), he also added a post saying this new update won’t make it for Christmas 2018, but it had a major feature that will add a lot of depth and realism in survival modes, and should make Creative better, he showed a thing to make you guess: A gray leaf block. It might be seasons. Who knows. I will let you know when it comes out. Overall, this was the history of Survivalcraft. It was really long, but I just want you to know about the history of Survivalcraft. Here’s to another great year! P.S: Please release Survivalcraft 2.2 soon, Kaalus. PLEASE?
Wow this is so long and interesting. Like you I am also waiting for 2.2 update. Probably not so soon, because he said he is working on something big, but he can't tell if he will be able to deliver it successfully or not
