I took the JR bus "Gran Hiru Tokkyu 2" double-decker from Osaka to Tokyo. Seats can be reserved by yourself one month prior to departure. If you are going from Osaka to Tokyo, I recommend you to take a seat on the left side because you can see Mt.Fuji. If you're going from Tokyo to Osaka, the seats on the right side are good. Gran Hiru Tokkyu runs about three times a day from 7:00AM to 11:00AM. And of course there are several night buses.
As for the sky bus without a roof, I got on it and was correct. Listening to the guide gives you a good understanding of the area, and above all, it feels great to ride while feeling the breeze.

I loved the bus but sadly was very rainy so never saw Fuji hope to do it again with my daughter soon on better day

Hiro-san, thank you for another enjoyable video! I love traveling around Japan too and so your videos help me deal with my Japan sightseeing addiction when I'm not in Japan! One thing I noticed in this and other videos is that you make funny little noises when you first start eating delicious food! Did you ever notice that? It is almost as entertaining to listen to as your おなら ! However, since I am the おなら博士 and not "Dr. Eating Noises", I will have to do more research as to which category of noises is actually most enjoyable for me. Anyway, thank you for another interesting video, but please try not to zoom into a Tanuki's special area in your videos anymore without a warning so I have the chance to close my eyes first! ちゅー博士より。

If I board the bus from Kyoto station, then is it possible to choose 2nd floor seats? Ive tried with the website, but only have 1st floor as an option😢
