We used to have such a great time! My best friend and I would ride everywhere, and get into some kind of trouble usually. 😮

I am so surprised you ain't be robbed for your surron. here in the UK you got to keep your head on a swival, if not, out of no where someone will ride into you with something to knock you off and attack you and rob you. I know a few people who have been kicked, hit, attacked for there surron! the alleys and areas your in, I am just shocked how chill it is, you seem like you got no fear of losing your surron lol I literally attached 2 custom apple tags to mine that only notify the phone its registered too. Bro, you live in a whole different world to me, it's crazy. Perspective is wild, I spent the last 20 years in the mountains 1.5hrs from the nearest store. I'm just kind of mind-blown by all of this, it's fun to experience through your camera so I never have to go there lol.

yeah, it's really not that rough everywhere, keep in mind Los Angeles is HUGE and he generally sticks to a relatively small rectangle of nearly all "disadvantaged" ignored neighborhoods... on the other hand I can't say he's driven past a property that costs less than $450,000 USD 100%

In the 90s cars used to pull up and buy drugs curbside. So that whole area was designated a drug enforcement zone and street access was blocked off in various places.

There's other electric cars besides Tesla. There's the Rivian, Ford Lightning, and Chevy Silverado. All pickups. The Rivian looks futuristic but it still has the pickup truck aesthetic. I'm sure I've said the same thing in a previous video but who's counting.
Basically the law for Surrons is three type of e-bike class laws, so it falls usually class 3 but in order to be legal in most of the states, You have to have a functioning pedals , to allow you to pedal the bike in order for it to be considered an e-bike, otherwise eventually just like Minnesota, California will enforce the laws, for every rider in California to have a pedal conversion, and California as of today's date specifically specifies a fully working pedal kit in order for the bike to be treated in one of the three e-bike classes, otherwise eventually you're going to get a citation, Or they're going to tell you it has to be registered as a motor vehicle, Because it's the same process I had to go through eventually.
My friend used to work for tesla (No idea if he still does havent seen him in a minute) But Teslas are a different beast. Feels so weird just feeling the car speed up with no motor. Drag racing with that thing was definitely an experience. I'd never buy one though, sucker for my muscle cars 😂

hey man if it wasn't for your videos I think most people would think *all* of LA is like downtown judging by the crap you see on the news, so you're actually doing a great public service by dropping visual pins on hotspots of social issues; not just gang activity, but the stuff that matters in the long run (poor maintenance, bad construction/city planning, wasted tax dollars, homelessness, public health access, etc), without which the traditional gang infrastructures (and several other issues) would weaken and eventually fail.

I'm from South Africa. Its very rare to see a property of any kind without razor wire, barbed wire or an electric fence. Its not uncommon to see all three on the same property. Our windows have bars on them to prevent criminals from breaking in, private security industry in SA is a 3 billion dollar industry and they act as our police force in many regards as they are more equipped than our actual police, who are horribly corrupt and never to be trusted. Trust me when I say you DON'T want to see razor wire in your neighbourhood... Its the precursor to very bad things. I have seen where it leads and I am living in it now. its a terrifying way to live. Do whatever you have to do, vote/don't vote for who ever you have to. But do SOMETHING before your home turns into a prison like mine has. LA still has a chance, it looks beautiful in many ways in these videos, but that can all change in a flash. It did in my country.

Same thing riding my Surron going back to my old neighborhood in the Bronx NYC, cops could care less even riding in the streets without any helmet or any protection, Because they have serious work to do just like LA where they're overwhelmed with crime and drugs and homelessness so they got better things to do than write you a citation for your electric dirt bike, but eventually that's going to change, especially for California, Because a lot of younger riders that are technically not even old enough to be riding this type of bike ,or out there riding in the highways , performing stand up goon wheelies in knee knockers, totally making a mockery of the law and the local ordinance, and business as usual in America it's always someone else that ruins it for everyone, enjoy your freedom while at last.
The area near PIco Bl was blocked off in the late 90s due to heavy gang activity. Drive byes was common along with drug sales. Same in Hollywood near the area near YUCCA St from WILCOX to Highland. Both locations were claimed by 18 St. Hope this answered your question John. 🫡
Before I came to Minnesota I lived in Wichita Kansas which is very similar to LA in one way or another lots of homeless lots of drugs lots of crime, and the local police didn't care about any type of pedal conversion on my bike, So I just rode without an issue, but once I moved and relocated that drastically changed, but I didn't want to live in a low income poverty-stricken high crime drug infested neighborhood in order to be able to ride my bike without any citation issues, Because then you have individuals trying to rob you for your bike at gunpoint so no thank you, Good luck and God bless be careful watch your back, Because you'll be riding seriously expensive bikes around bad areas, and you never know who could be watching your videos basically trying to set you up for failure some sort of ambush, be wary my friend.

Brother enjoy the shit out of your videos thanks man🎉 I have these 1 inch by 1 inch LED lights that are super bright did I put around my dog's neck for when he walks at night. They're so bright and flashing mode during the day you can see them. If you got a couple of those on your bike they're $10 a piece I think it'd be great and keep you safe I want to see you make it to a whole lot more videos. I'm always worried about the other guy out there. Back in the day I was riding my brother's $2,000 amount Fuji mountain bike and had to fly up a curb into a hedge of Ivy otherwise I would have died. Got to watch out for the other guy I'm sure you know that I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir. Those blocked off streets because it was drug activity we have one here in the San Fernando Valley that's been shut down since the 80s. I went the wrong way down there and had beer bottles throwing it in my 65 Cherry Mustang😢 figured out that the hard way you should get a BMX mask that we get less stuff in your mouth🎉
