My kids and I took a ride out to avenal ca 93204, to ride our 2019 Can am x3 max , and we had a great time the hospitality of the locals and crowd that was there was great , i didn’t see any law enforcement of any kind just a local fire truck cruise in and out, and that brings up the topic of some concerns, although I have no relation of any of the people I seen riding without protection (helmets), (i would recommend to wear some) those that did thank you , I really would like for the public that continues to ride the Avenal hills to use Protection or the required gear to ride ohv like in any other public grounds / lands because I would not like to see Avenal loose that riding privileges, slow down on main roads and ride respect the parking / camping areas when riding near area. I did see some not a lot of trash laying around (Clean up your area, pickup after yourself ). Other then those 2 concerns it looked to me like the visitors from all around the Valley (Modesto , Atwater, Merced , *bay pismo, Coalinga , Corcoran , Hanford , lemoore, fresno , madera, Chowchilla, Visalia , Tulare , Bakersfield, Wasco) Really enjoyed the Avenal Hills . Lets stay safe and think of the future for riding there to continue and stay open to ride for all.
