There is nothing like learning from people who have the experience and have learned themselves by actually doing it many times. And also even experienced moto campers that get a ah ha moment. We all learn something that changes our behavior or how to do things. Example you mentioned once that you ride more conservative when riding alone than when with other riders. Makes sense. Anyway great podcast and it is a great time to have this type of pod cast while were snowed in. Thanks you. Go find that Moose for me!! 👍 Next summer is ok I’ll wait.

Thanks Rusty. That’s just it man, never stop learning. I am always trying to learn new things and always open to finding a better way, whether it’s on my own or somebody showing me.

I believe its also important to identify hole up locations. Routing on dirt or country roads could be crucial during an emergency.

around 29:30 i agree trying to stay away from cows/horses when camping. At my parents they have a beautiful pond with trees in a pasture and i wish i could camp out there every so often but i don't want to be treaded on or even have an animal get tangled in guylines and freaking out and snatching the whole tent away lol

I tow a trailer behind my GS, full of water, MRE’s, hand grenades, and other heavy equipment just because you never know when those Canadians will come across our borders!
