I'm 68 and watching this reminds me of my youth! When I was a kid I trained a Black Angus heifer to ride and jump rails! Some of the best times of my life💖
I'm from Australia so I don't have much knowledge on bison, but I didn't realise that you could ride them,k thought they had a bad temperament,is that normally for it to be like that
I was waiting for a Big o'le GRIZZLY BEAR to come out of no where & start chasing you all, cause that sure looks like " Bear Country " 😱to me , but it was cool seeing you ride that Bison👍
Hyd J piece of advice like I’ve said in a previous vid. I’m from COSTA RICA. IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THE BUCKING AND GETTING HURT. DO WHAT GRANDPA DID TAKE THE ANIMAL TO A RIVER OR LAKE RIDE THERE IT WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND GETTING HURT ONES THE ANIMALS IN IN THE WATER THERES NO BUCKING THE ANIMAL IS JUST CONCENTRATED ON SWIMMING FOR ITS LIFE
Abuse! First of all the rider is way too big, second of all why the hell does the animal have a bit in the mouth ( cattle don’t have the same mouths as horses ), thirdly you should of had weeks of training not an under an hour 😡
I ride my buffalo just fine in a snaffle and have been working with the beefalo for the past two years. If she was unhandled she would have been significantly wilder than that.
@@BarJLHorseTraining Okay that is not true for starters. If you think that beefalo was “trained” then why was she acting like that? I ride my cow and she is way more trained than your beefalo. Bits are not meant for cattle, if you will actually search it up and see yourself. I don’t even reckon you have put a saddle on the beefalo before, you need to take steps at a time. You call yourself a horse trainer and you do this. I have watched your vids for years with the one of Jasper going to take aways and I found that super cool. But this video is actual crazy. I didn’t say that the beefalo was unhandled, I meant that you should actually use your brain and teach her before getting on her.
She had been saddled many times, bison are definitely different creatures. I don’t deny that there is a thousand ways we could have done it, but this was the way I chose to do it. I’m excited to watch the progress videos of your bison or bison cross. Be sure to send them to me!
