@@allenwilson9656 When I worked fast food I was just happy to serve a polite customet. Of course I was courteous to every customer, but the nice ones really made my day
I don't think Jasper is heavy enough to trip the sensors at the drive up ordering center. Awesome steer. He's so well behaved and I noticed he isn't startle at all by his reflection at the takeout windows. Nice video.
My friends and I used to ride our horses through Jack 'n the Box drive through. The employees got a kick out of it but one day the manager made us clean up the horse poop.
As a person who has worked in fast food for a while, we see enough on our shifts, youtubers, dug addicts, people ordering with hover boards, we’re there to work so we can’t really get distracted although we want too lol it depends how busy we are. Also the pressure plate for ordering uses a magnet to let us know when a car pulls up. We also have a time limit for small talk to make sure a line out the driveway doesn’t develop into the street. It makes our day to see stuff like this though❤️
@@chewy99. Drug addicts* and they are very commonly found at and around fast food joints. The garbage goblins who usually ask customers and fast food employees for cigarettes and free food, rummage through garbage bins outside the stores, do meth and heroin in the bathrooms, leaving their broken meth pipes, used needles, soiled underwear, and other garbage for people (fast food workers, often 17 years and below) to pick up, then in the lobbies sometimes explode into frenzied schizophrenic or drug-induced episodes threatening to kill teenagers because the burger that used to be a 1.50 is now 3.00. So no, not "dug addicts" but the very real and dangerous DRUG addicts that most people choose to ignore everyday but that are a very real and tragic reality for millions of people.
My sisters and I trained several pairs of oxen over the years and used to ride them too. Paracticly everyone knew who we were. So fun to see you riding your steer.
I get similar reactions when I ride my brahman bull, biggest hassle is modifying the saddles to accommodate his hump. Will admit steers are easier to tame than bulls though, I got lucky with my quiet boy
Aww, Jasper deserved an ice cream of his own... (My old horse enjoyed chocolate.) I have heard longhorn are supposed to be docile, but I ain't never met one yet that wasn't at least a little ornery. Jasper looks like a good boy, though.
You cannot feed horses chocolate like dogs and cats... it can kill them you know. If you give your horse food not in it’s diet, maybe check to see if it’s healthy.
@@123red2 Considering Candy, my horse, lived to the age of 43 (she was born the same year as my father), I'd say it had no deleterious effect on her. There was actually very little theobromine in the cheap quality ice cream we used to get. (It was barely ice cream to begin with... that cheap.) Horses are also lactose intolerant, but she never batted an eye at any flavor of ice cream. She also loved to steal sandwiches (ham, tuna, peanut butter and jam, all the same to her. I kept my lunches in a fridge near her stall, and she was smart enough to jimmy the door. I thought I had raccoons in the barn until I caught her in the act.) And heaven help you if you had a pack of Red Man Chewing tobacco in your back pocket, she would stick her nose in and fish out the pack.
@Artic Wood Studio lol, you gave me a good chuckle with that mental picture, thank you. I am fairly certain old Candy was weird even by horse standards. She would pick through the best hay available, just to get any errant thistle or ragweed. Her love of beer was also something we had to watch out for. I learned never to leave an open tasty beverage around her. My father always figured she thought she was human. Dad had a habit of getting EXCEEDINGLY odd animals.
I rode my horse through Jack in the Box when there was a hose on the ground to ring for the attendant. I got my horse to step on the ringer hose. It was a great thing to do .
for those that don't know, the reason they don't answer at the normal ordering spot is cuz it's a magnetic system there that alerts them that a car is waiting, so if you are on a bike, motorcycle or foot most places won't even know you are there.
If you can it'd be funny to see you go through a city drive through with Jasper. He seems so calm bless you for working with him like you did. I loved it
It’s super good they got the make and model of your ride down. It really sucks when they mess up the orders in the parking lot. :D That was kind of a nice thing to do to brighten a few strangers’ days.
you know what I quite like this guy soft hands soft voice no metal ring to control through nose that causes pain not showing who's boss and bull looks pretty relaxed here not showing any nervousness just enjoying his day out with his calm relaxed owner .
That was great...Thankyou for sharing...I am thinking your little daughter is gonna follow in her Poppas foot steps! Jasper is a beautiful animal! 👏👏👏💕😁
I used to ride my horse to Dairy Queen in Caldwell Texas...about 4 miles from my house. I'd just tie him up to the hitching post (really a pipe guard for the gas meter) and all the kids would come over to pet him and give him apple chips which I provided.
Jasper is so cute!!!!! 💖 I walked through Taco Bell drive through with my dog. They let me order just like everyone in the cars. I've never gone through on a bull, though. 👍🤣🐂 Edit: typo
Depends where you go. Some places will refuse to serve people walking through a drive thru because the company can be held liable if someone runs over you.
Poor Jasper. You just ordered his uncle twice removed. :( :( >.> Also, out of curiosity, can you recommend any good sources on how to train cattle for saddle riding? I'm in the process of starting a ranch and I would like to train one of the bulls for saddle riding.
For training cattle I honestly would say I use pretty much the same exercises I use when training horses. I do simplify things a lot for them due to their limited athletic ability. Subscribe to the page and you will see our training tips, and more videos on Jasper and my Buffalo Indy
@@BarJLHorseTraining Thank you for the info. I will look into horse training techniques and see what might be required to make the adaptations you mention. :)
I have tried training one of these several times during my 55 years in the cattle business. You have got to start them young ,and put a lot of time in working with one, time I seemed to run out of all to often. My hat is off to this young man ,and what he has accomplished.
@@deanmason5900 Thank you for this insight. I plan to acquire quite young and train daily. Thankfully I have a solid background in animal behaviorism and training. Hopefully that, sheer determination, advice & counsel from those who have done, and a bit of luck will get me there. :)
Have you ever thought about taking him to the windows of residents in nursing homes or assisted living facilities! I think the residents would love him!
@@treymansfield7919 I worked at a senior residential home with numerous residents who'd been ranchers and farmers. One of their favorite topics of conversation was the livestock they'd owned, trained, and taken care of. These people missed their animals as much as their missed their previous homes, Grandpa.
Yeah the drive through window speaker there’s a underground Magnetic strip actually It’s like a cord That detects Metal so yeah a bull doesn’t really Activate the sensor Alerting the clerk
Haha, thank you for posting this, good laugh. Also, my daughter and I were talking and she said nobody "rides" cows and they're so big no saddles would fit. Then I found your video when proving they do, lol. 😄
Interesting video! Jasper is very well behaved. I also miss the view of wide open spaces in TX. It beats the hideous looking urbanized basin in Taipei. Taiwan makes me feel like I’m living in a third world country.
Jasper a doll. Well behaved and trained. Me and girlfriend rented Longhorn for pics and ride (Fort Worth) for my birthday a few years ago. There used to be a guy who sat on I-35 on big Longhorn near Burleson, TX. He wore ten gallon hat and waived at people on weekends. Don’t mess with Texas 🇨🇱 🐄
Your reaction would be a lot different if it was the States. People's reaction in Canada is...well, they don't have any. Americans would be super warm with you, asking you questions and taking pictures and probably would give your friend a treat. Truth! I'm glad to see one Canadian have fun and crack a smile!!
If you did that in Texas, it's not a surprise. Just this week, near Duncanville, TX, a bunch of cows got loose from a nearby ranch and we had a cattle drive going down a suburban neighborhood.
