Thanks for doing the video. I was thinking of coming from Hayward to ride the trail and I wanted to see what it was like. Thanks for all the good information! And I agree, the mosquitos are really bad this year.

Thanks for watching! I will be headed to the northern part of the Dead Horse in the near future. I like to ride those type of trails, they keep it interesting. I really like to ride after a heavy rain, going thru water is always fun!

One of my favorite trails, usually ride two or three times a summer. I park at the Day Lake Trail head off of GG.

Thanks for watching! I'm only going to ride it once a year skipping trail 40. I start from GG also but I don't know if that is the same trailhead as where you park. Looking to ride some other trails this year, Harrison Hills, Hurley, Burnette county, are on the books. I enjoy all the trails except railroad beds. We were out last week and had a blast, but it was slippery in spots so you had to be careful!

I was watching your Tach VS the speed you were going. My 900 was the same way. Wouldn't shift up until the 5 or 6 grand mark. 40 MPH on a smooth road or trail was around 5900 RPM. I also have a 850 touring and that thing is So Smooth and Quiet you wouldn't believe it compared to the RZR and still has gobs of power. But that one is a odd firing engine. I even asked the dealer and he say that was normal. So I said to hell with the warranty and changed the primary weights and spring. Now 40 MPH is about 4300.... Much more quiet and a pleasure to drive. Still has enough power. Only thing that worries me is the heavier weights. will put more pressure on the rollers.

Yep, messing with the clutches makes me nervous. It seems like when I start doing something to them, that's all I can think about when I'm out riding. I changed the oem belt to a Hunter Works and that belt seems like it is a harsher engagement when I start to move. I checked the service limit on the secondary pucks and that was totally outside the limits so I went with rollers. When I need new tires that will probably bring another set of problems if I decide to go bigger, which I doubt but you never know. I wish this machine came with 14" rims it would make more tire options available. I do know one thing you had better be ready to spend some money if you own one!

@@jensenoutdoors9804 Ya it seems like the original belt gives a jerky start. But engaging at a lower speed helps. I have over 11,000 miles on that 850 and changed the belt just because... everything looked like new in there including the old belt. I went with Kanati Mongrels on the 900, 27 X 9 X 12 all the way around. My rims are the same width so I can rotate them. The blacktop road routes around here ground ground up the original fronts in about 1800 miles and I did check the toe in,. They were cheezey tires though...

@@kenmajeski7715 That's a hard thing about buying products for your sxs, you really don't know what you are getting until after you put it on. Forums can tell you how good any product is but there are so many variables I don't find they help much in making decisions for buying tires, belts, etc. So for me I look at the companies with good customer support, so if I do have a problem I may be able to get an answer. That's impressive 11,000 miles on a machine! For what a machine costs now I hope I can get that many miles too. Thank You for watching the video!

Never spent much money on the 2013 850. Ran over a railroad spike in Michigan with about 1500 miles so one new rear tire. Then tires lasted over 9000 miles after that then a new set of Maxis Ceros. Just oil grease and Gas. Even the air filter is original. Just blew it out. They will pry that one from my Cold Dead hands. Spent more on the 22 900 RZR than I ever did on any Polaris I owned and it's the Fifth one....
