Shawn - if you fancy running and operating a miniature steam loco for the day, I would be more than happy to arrange as such! I currently have 15 7&1/4" gauge locos which would be at your disposal..... Would show you what it takes to prepare, operate and maintain a steam loco which is equally the same instances as a full size one! Hoping you're well!
A few yrs ago, well, maybe a few more, I remember my older sister falling in the South Marine Pond - probably about '56-'57 ...... Me Dad fished 'er out and we were all run home to keep warm ........ fond memories of the area where I was born ....... Thanks for the look !
Whenever my family visit this park we always go on the train, its almost become a family tradition. South marine Park is a must of your ever in the North of England :D
Hi Shawn. I posted this on Themeparkworldwide but I would highly reccomend Beamish. Its a brilliant experiance up in the North East and shows how we used to live in Victorian times. I believe its the biggest outdoor museum in the UK
Funnily enough you can see the actual train on a cart going past the town hall on Google maps. I believe it was caught in the 2017 or 2019 between those years. It’s a nice little railway.
I rode the mini train at Pleasurewood Hills yesterday, also the Roller Coaster at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach is actually operating on two trains. Also there is actually another 9 inch steam railway called Norton Hill ( but it is privately owned) near Hunstanton in Snettisham at Hall Farm
If your ever up in the manchester area again checkout the miniture railway at springfield park near rochdale about 20 min drive out of manchester its a hidden gem running electric, steam and diesel minitures run by volunteers. You could combine it with a trip to the east lancs railway at bury
i was ment to come to the north east in may and south shields was on the list but due to lockdown i had to cancel im hoping to do newcastle next year and south shields too and after seeing this video il have to check out the lake too hopefully ill have more success next year
Lol my dad and brother drove up from Cheshire last week as I’d not seen them since before lockdown, we spent the day at the beach and he got some footage of the train for his channel , it was also the first time in my 21 years of living near south shields that i had a lap round the lake on the it, quicker than I thought it would be and I definitely will be going on it again. love seeing the videos from my local attractions too 👌
love your channel! you said you not sure what this channel has in store for the future? whatever you do please don not discontinue this channel ! that would be a bummer! this channel is spectacular ! whoa !! a miniature steam railway!!! how cool is that? 2 thumbs up if i must say so myself , and i must!!! can't wait to see what you post on this channel in the future! now it's time to cue my credits AKA end my comment ! see you soon!!!!!!!!
I was wondering if there would be a lakeshore railroad ride time! My childhood. There are two engines! Although the other is usually being overhauled when the other operates. My childhood and adulthood.
