I checked out some of the best trails in Verbier and the surrounding area. Not for the faint hearted ha! The camera I use for this RU-vid video: www.insta360.com/sal/x3?...
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. A few months ago I was recommended a video of yours, the one in Green Hill Bike Park in Winterberg. That is close to where I live and I up to watching the video did not have any interest in going there. I never was an athletic guy and have been spending my time indoors. Naturally, my physique is horrible. I watched that video of yours and thought "that looks fun". While I will never be a competent rider myself (too fearsome), I still decided to grab my bike and become fit again. I have been training ever since and am already seeing results. Up to this point I am still motivated to become a more athletic individual so that I can ride my bike again. Guess I will never be a true mountain biker. But you motivated me and changed my life for the better. That is the reason for why I am so grateful. Thank you so much!
Keep it up man! I started biking last month, I have issues with being underweight, well a month later I’m 5 pounds above a healthy weight and I’ve never been even close to a good weight, keep it up man, it helps losing and gaining weight!
I'm pretty much on the same path but started watching his videos just a few days ago. I'm unfit but are ok, getting more muscle couldn't hurt. I'm pretty much mostly indoors as well though I do ride longboards but it's not the same. Planning to buy a competent bike myself soon.
@@MythicYetiiiiii Thank you. I do not feel as though I have been losing any weight, but my endurance has increased and I do not run out of breath as soon as I used to. Trying helathy food and less chocolate surely helps. One of my goals is indeed to lose some weight. Good luck with your training.
@@sykoteddy I grabbed my old bike and found out that it is quite heavy. Modern bikes have less weight and are more appropriate for mountain biking. I am by no means an expert but when buying a bike weight might be something to consider. Hope you find one that you like.
@@gheimann1 Thanks mate, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to buy it first, but I found one used that seem appropriate. It's a Scott Gambler 20 and it's just under $500. Don't know the weight but I guess it's reasonable since it seems modern. Have a good one!
@@wolfpack_adventures I am a 67yr. old young lady lol but I am crippled and I subscribe to many MTB channels. I live in Northern BC Canada. I never knew of such incredble freedom and fun on a bike before and if I had known when I was young I would have been all up in that lol but now I watch you all and enjoy every minute just know you ride for all of us who can't. Thanks for sharing your videos. I can watch and it doesn't cost me a dime. LOL Love it!!
@@arlenegariepy8957 I’m in the same boat as you. At least we just get to enjoy it without the hand cramps and back aches, but, God! It would have been thrilling to ride these trails.
@@arlenegariepy8957 I don't want to be mean or anything, but it's pretty much only your mind that makes it impossible. Also, I'm not necessarily saying it's easy to get out doing these kind of stuff. Depending on what kind of "crippled" you are there still are many different things you can do that is thrilling and gives you a adrenaline rush. It's hard to think of all the weird and obscure things now but there's for example a sort of longboarding when you lay on your back on a longboard and goes downhill. Skateboarder Victor Earhart Killed in Motorcycle Crash. This page is a memorial site with video clips of him longboarding. www.theinertia.com/surf/ridge-lenny-describes-capturing-first-double-barrel-pov-shot-at-jaws/ If you don't think that is wild enough, why not check out base jumping, or body suspension. I've done the latter sever times, but I bet not many have done a combination of the two, fittingly in the beginning it says "What the mind can achieve" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-feVQXqvBZx0.htmlsi=yPT1jror0qf7bULT Now, get out there! I bet a lot of people would love to help you out and would be impressed!
Just recently got into mtb. Things like this inspire me to keep learning and push my limits coz this is just amazing. Hoping to go to the Lake District in England this summer
Skydiving is tame compared to your **insane** and amazing sport! I have the heart for what you do, well maybe not!! 😳!! You’re living the dream and I think that’s wonderful!
Heyy, what bike would you recommend for a begginer? I’d like one that can do it all, go fast on trails and be confident on big jumps. I can only buy one and don’t want to worry about any upgrades, unless they are minimal. Was thinking of the Vitus Mythique AMP. Love what you do!
Question for anyone that knows?? When you ride the off piste down to the town below Verbier, is there a gondula that will bring you back up to Verbier from there?
How do you get over the fear factor of going fast into turns and over jumps? i love mountainbiking but i'm yet to give a proper fast and challenging trail a go because i'm too afraid of crashing
Bikepark Verbier opens on June 1st (depending on snow) - But we are already operating our shuttle days since April in the Valais area of Switzerland. Bikepark closes in October (usually last weekend, depending on snow) and we continue shuttles until end of November.
Stunning views in Verbier and just loved watching you all go speeding down those steep mountain trails. Looks like you enjoyed yourselves immensely and a day that you'll never ever forget. I'd do anything to go back in time and go cycling again. Due to lower back issues i doubt if i could ride a bike again 😒 Brilliant video Wolfpack!! Spoiled a bit by loads of annoying advert breaks! 😒 Luckily i can bypass them. Would be good if the adverts were shown at the beginning and end of the video, and not DURING the video. 🙄 That's Advert Tube for you....i mean RU-vid 😆
At a costly £12.99 a month. Hmm I don't think so dude. Lol 😆 no matter I've found a way of bypassing most of them. Hehe! 👍 Loving your mountain bike videos nevertheless. I've even subscribed!
You never did say how your Lewis brakes held up and performed especially given your comment @ 9:12 "brakes not working too well", do you know why - I'm really interested in a set of LHT's which you seemed to rave about until this
@@wolfpack_adventures No RU-vid channel. I use these kinds of videos while I'm elliptical training. My favorites are by SAFA Brian. Their downhills are crazy.
