proud to own this bike still having 1994 model 14bhp @8500rpm rx 100 only 11.4bhp @7500rpm if u hear the roaring sound of shogun its like beast. In front of shogun rx 100 is a failure the only thing is that u can easily get the spare parts of rx 100

What a dumbass, shogun was created to compete with rx 100. It was launched years after rx and though it's sound is a bit louder, rx's sound has it's own rhythm and it sounds just as good. Never ever say that RX100/135/Z is a failure because it's the most successful bike ever made at the time and was way more popular than shogun itself. If u ask about RX series bike many people are gonna know that better than shogun which speaks to its successful impact on people.

Two stroke does have engine oil.engine oil lubricates the engine (clutch plate,bearing,etc) whereas the 2t oil lubricates the cylinder(piston,piston ring).

I'm a proud owner of black 1995 Oct shogun :)) every ride is orgasmic Haha. Not staying in India since 2007 but made sure I retain it and take care of it.. now it's in restoration.. once done will definitely upload on RU-vid.. as I say people from 90s know RX100 but only the real bikers knew Shogun... it was always in that niche market... and now it's simply priceless :) Comes Oct 2020 and it will be 25 yrs old! VINTAGE The sound it makes it's in different league altogether..

Rode a RX 100 for 7 years . One of my friends bought a Shogun. I rode it from Kovvur West Godavari on the road cum rail bridge around 4.0 kilometers long to Rajahmundry. Believe me when I say people could hear the Shogun coming from Kovvur to Rajahmundry from around 2 kms distance. It was that loud. Engine was not as refined as a properly maintained RX 100. But it was loud as hell and used to pull wheelies in a snap. RX 100 was a gentleman's express and Shogun was a badass. TVS also wanted to launch a 16 H.P version of it with racing exhaust but dropped the idea because of pollution norms.

There was also a bike named Suzuki TVS Supra that gave both RX 100 and Shogun competition. TVS in collaboration with Suzuki did produce some performance oriented 2 stroke bikes in the end 80's and early 90's. Supra, Shogun, and Shaolin. Also, not to forget the four stroke Fiero in the early 2000.

The first bike of my dad is shogun they purchased it in 80s or 90s the acceleration is just fabulous. but it gives only 20 or 25 km on 1 litre petrol. My dad used it 7 to 8 years then he sold it and buyed a boxer and after Yamaha libero and after that thunderbird. Now we are planning to buy new one . And I just restored the yamaha it is simply amazing.

I was just 10 years old when my uncle got Suzuki Samurai the yellow colored one and my father got Suzuki Shogun. Both were excellent motorcycles of at that time and they had good road presence. In my village every one use to ask about them.

I remember how I had fallen in love with 2 strokes in 90's my brother's friend's had rx-100,rx-z,rd-350 and man I was dying to ride on any of these machines.. asked my dad if I could buy rx-z or rd-350 he said no even my dad use to ride yezdi in his college days and is still fan of Yamaha rx-100 it still turns his head when he sees one ..the best 2 strokes era was from 70-2000s

My uncle had a hero honda cd100 in the early 1990s, he left for america and my other uncle used it. Sadly as years went by he didnt maintain it and it just sits in his house collecting dust. Hes too afraid a mechanic will take the original engine or something lol. Love to restore it one day and just have it for a nice ride on the weekend.

It was faster than rx100 anyday.. intact they launched shogun to empower rx100.. the only bike with racing exhaust . 110 cc 14 bhp compared to rx100s 100 cc 9 bhp. Do I need to say anymore.. proud owner of 1995 shogun

It was one of my fav 2 stroke bikes.. i had it in my pu days wid some performance mods like porting, flat slide carburettor & expansion chamber etc it was the beast.. It is the 2nd best sounding 2 stroke bike after Rd350 in India.. I just loved it's stock exhaust note💕..

My first bike... on a 3rd gear it lifts with a pillion when declutching is done ..... only issue with bike is 2t oil pump fails and seizures are common... but trust me u will love it......

This is a lit bike bro. I have it and I ride it alot. I love the sound wen u go fast on 4th gear. But if ur going on a slight incline road on 4th gear in my experience the bike does a wheelie. Mostly coz it's back heavy. It's like the Kardashians😂

RX100 is a good bike. But compare the power and Speed..Say the Truth until you are not knowing about SHOGUN..In Chennai I had own a SHOGUN. My friends were having All kinds of Yamaha. They Accepted the Fact that Yamaha was more less speed compare to SHOGUN... Especially RX100 is nothing in front of SHOGUN

In SUZUKI SAMURAI, you get mileage. In SUZUKI SHOGUN, you get more power and has very good pick up and pulling. Even the sound is good in SHOGUN.

i pray more guys think like you n leave the 2 strokes alone for people who know what they are.. then finally we can get our hands on one for a sane price.. ever heard journey>destination ? same. you crave - destination = triple digit speeds , n getting there fast. i crave - journey = a 20 years old 2 stroke kinetic honda in a really bad condition , which cant go past 50kmph still being able to plaster my face with wild grins just with her puny 2 stroke engine , even when i have much modern , bigger 4 strokes in my garage. ever heard ppl say its awesome to ride a 200 cc at 80% than a litre class bike at 40%. even vikas says so.. ps. i dunno how to pop a wheelie, n m not interested to learn either. but i remember an rx which made my mouth open n heart stop with unintentional wheelies occasionally.. i was a kid back then.

Vikas I have rx 135 and I use it daily to commute and the fun I have with it is really price less and my bike is faster then the duke200 and rc200 in pick up my bike reaches 70kmph faster than other bikes . I live in Bangalore when are u comming here for a meet up . We are alll waiting
