This is the second leg of this section of the TET which continues from where last weeks video concluded. Things get a bit more technical this week and I get beaten back by a river crossing which goes over my boots! The entire Great Northern Trail spans for just over 900 miles. If you want to see more of this section of the TET please consider subscribing for next weeks episode where I will show you more of this trail and the beautiful scenery in which it is located.
Please feel free to leave a comment down below and I will respond to any questions/comments etc.

If you would like to support my channel so that I can continue to bring you great videos, why not buy me a coffee, it’s only £2 and it will go towards my fuel and other biking essentials, I may even give you a public shout out. buymeacoffee.com/701adventures

I did that route today it’s a great trail. I did go through the water crossing but nearly come a cropper😳. I’m on a Voge 300 rally and like you I’m running the Michelin trackers. Great videos keep it up mate 👍

@@markchallenger8512 How deep would you estimate the water was, it looked quite deep, even near where I dipped my toes in. Thanks for watching and commenting on the video, I’m glad you enjoyed it. 👍

@@701Adventures my front wheel was totally under water so it got to be getting on a couple of feet deep. There’s big rocks in there too and rode straight into one and I just managed to catch before it went over. Two wet feet but the bike was saved😀

How are you importing the GPX file into the Zumo XT and are you importing them as a route or a track?

@@701Adventures thanks for your reply On the TET website I’m downloading the GPX files as a track

@@stephenclarke9419 I’ve been thinking about this today and I believe that when I imported the TET GPX files onto my Zumo XT I did it via Basecamp. Have you tried that? If not save the GPX file on your desktop or similar, open up Basecamp and then import the file into Basecamp. Then after connecting your XT to the computer export the GPX file to it, either as a track or route, depending on your preference and that should be it. On an Android device, (such as my Samsung Galaxy Tablet) with OS Maps or OSMAnd installed it’s a much simpler process, you can simply open the GPX file directly from the Tablet into whichever mapping software you prefer. I hope that helps a bit but if not have a look at some Facebook groups and they may be able to explain it better than I have attempted. Good luck. 👍
