With all the inversions/forces on this ride, plus all the other spinning coasters and attractions, adding the fact it’s also indoors - I think this is the most nausea-inducing park in the country. It takes a TOLL on your brain and stomach lol

This ride showcases Gerslauer's potential perfectly on this side of the ocean. They've got so many elite looking coasters in Europe and Asia that make them potentially a top 3 manufacturer but they haven't had many opportunities over here. Yea I could criticise the lack of theaming, especially when a lot of Takabisha was designed to take place in the dark (which could be dubbed "sewers" to go with the TMNT theme) but this is still by far the best Gerslauer outside of Europe or Asia.

As a TMNT fan, I want to ride this just to say I’ve been on a TMNT roller coaster. As a person who is almost 40 years old, with a heart condition, and a fear of any ride that goes faster than like 30mph, I don’t think it’s worth my life.

I think it has something to do with the ride being indoors and thus having a rock-hard concrete foundation instead of normal ground - instead of the supports taking the load of the train, the track does that causing a bad rattle. That’s why all the coasters at that park are rough

The weird coaster where the front is a rattly mess. The back is weirdly much smoother despite only being 2 rows. I can marathon this in the back row but tap out after 1 ride up front cuz its so shaky. I dont get Gerstlauer. They either make really smooth rides or really rough ones. Kind of like Gravity Group.

@MattMcIrvin
@MattMcIrvin Год назад
The weird thing about "steepest drop" records is that there's a hard limit--most people who care about such things seem to consider any tilt more than 135 degrees an inversion, so it's not possible for there to be a drop steeper than 135 degrees; not for any physical reason, but because anything steeper than that would just get classified as a saxophone inversion, like on an S&S Screamin Squirrel.

Pay per ride new system? That sounds great. (However, just checked it's $9.50 for 6 points, and the coasters are all 6 points each, so about $50 for the 5 credits riding each once. The first time I actually noticed it was entering the vertical loop on a Vekoma Boomerang, which is a pretty forceful inversion for a very common ride--my vision got kind of grainy and purple, something I used to experience from just standing up too quickly when I was a kid. Then I started paying more attention and realized that I can see some subtle hints of it even on, say, Eurofighter vertical loops.
