I'm a 15y girl and I live in Brazil, my dream is to ride a motorcycle. It's the first time I've seen a girl riding a motorcycle, seeing you gave me even more courage to start riding and have a channel too in the future. also i loved your way. We need who ride motorcycles like you
This chick was made for a bike…laughing hysterically, scream spasms not to mention how fun she makes it sound while riding…just like a little child 👍🏻👍🏻
hey I plan on taking the test very soon and hopefully getting my bike too. I thought about getting a Kawasaki for a starter bike, it is a good choice? I'm having a bike crisis lol. Yeah these bikes look so fun to have and ride on. Also I noticed for the Kawasaki I'm pretty sure it shows you the gear you're in if I'm not mistaken. I'm so excited for you!! Congrats! I love watching videos like these, they make me smile!
nice videos! There used to be a girl rider around my house and only rider I've seen by me. I'm about to get a ninja 400 and wanted to have a riding buddy but haven't seen her in a year or two hopefully she just moved and is safe and didn't crash. i guess ill have to find a another riding buddy :(
New Maryland rider here, with lots of fam in PA. Riding a motorcycle is so fun, but without music, it's a lil lonely in a way. So I def get silly with my own dialogue while riding, like you did in this video. Lol I had a smile the whole time watching this, and I died when u quoted that movie about 4th of july and hot dog. 😂😂 Stay safe out there! 💙
I'm going to have a look-see at a Ninja 500 SE KRT at a local dealership in just a couple of hours. I'm most likely not going to buy one this year, but unless Yamaha puls a Ninja-beating R5 out of the hat in time for spring next year, the 500 SE will be my next bike. :) It will be my first bike since I sold my last one ('84 Suzuki GSX 250 ES) back in 2006.
@@motolexi Thanks. Being 48, safety is much higher on my list of priorities as they were back in '95 when I got my first bike ('86 Honda CB 250 RS). The dealer I went to today had a lot of much bigger used bikes in the same prize range or cheaper as the 500, but most of them would just get me killed. I think the 45.4hp of the A2-spec we get here in Europe is just right for me. Same power as the '91 GSX-R 250 I had for a brief time back in the late 90's, but a bit heavier (148kg vs. 172kg). And the front looks like the head of a dragon, what's not to like about that? :)
Why'd you choose the 500 over something like 600 or 650? Also why a ninja when it's your first bike? I noticed every new biker buys a street/performance bike as their first
@@vgfan80 personally i choose the 500 because i thought it was good in between bike for me. I didn’t want a 300-400cc bike but i also knew as a new biker i wasn’t ready for a 600 yet either. i had sat on my bfs 600 and it was too big for me and i wasn’t comfortable with it. I’m 5’2. Then i was looking at the CBR500 but price played into that so the ninja was the best options for me :) sorry that was long winded
@@motolexinot a problem. The reason I asked was because performance bikes are not really recommended for new beginners but I noticed that you are handling it ok
hi, how tall are you for refrence? Im thinking of getting my first bike this year but im pretty short for a guy. Also fun vlog, cant wait to see more😊😊
i am 5’2 sometimes i still mess up my shifts occasionally but not too hard and going from stops but mostly just on hills i’ll get a little nervous and overthink it haha
@@motolexi yeah 😂 almost every vlog or clips i see with girl riders has the same autistic screams and voices. i preferably call it ‘self-diagnosed autism’
Get comfortable rolling backwards off the driveway. The bike isn't heavy, but it can teach that very light brake pressure needed for the incline/decline and trail braking, I love this bike so much. You park like you own a car, keep in mind for other motorcyclist yeah? Ah, also no clutch going in, probably just rear brake? Build those habits now for everyone around ya. Oh god, wear good, and not have a fucked up day. That sneaker is flying off, at least some cheap ass full boot.. Wowing at big vehicles.. and your viewers doing the same.. I hope you took an MSF course. It can be all fun, but when newer riders see this, it might becomes an issue. It should never be a wow, that just happened, it's a, "Damn, saw it coming, let me maneuver myself because I trained for this." Red lights are my biggest op... you learn this at MSF or any course, where is your clutch zone. You're talking about the Tesla, you're chasing him at 60, and hardly leaning. That person on four tires is of course going to do better, you can't keep up on fundamentals. You're saying he almost lost it... You would'be lost it if you chased, and that's why YOU slowed down. Learn to lean before talking crap on others. I'm all for new motovloggers, but this is getting out of hand again. Oh wow indeed, this is your community indeed, please ride safer and stay on the road.
hi! i appreciate all your points and i want to take time to address them :) My drive way has a hump at the end that’s hard for me to get over, yes i want to get better at getting the strength to handle this; for now i do what’s comfortable and still practice :). Also no i do not need my clutch in when i am rolling in neutral. I would love to get riding boots just waiting to get the right pair. I also never suggest for people to wear what i wear riding nor say it was okay. I can get seriously injured so can others so proper gear is a good point. Yes i said ahh at a truck then wowed at the transportation bus that before (which isn’t showed) merged into the right lane (my lane) so i got over then gave space because he proceeded to do it again keeping a safe distance between me and unpredictable bus driver. Yes i wowed but i didn’t get angry or aggressively ride to keep both me and the bus driver safe. I did take a course and passed and got my license. I also highly suggest taking course. When i say red lights are my opp it’s always joke. I live in a downtown area where all lights change quickly more of a passing thought then something to try and call out on. I am hardly leaning because there isn’t too much to lean for it’s a gradual bend i don’t have to lean far to get around it. The GoPro is going to have a wide angle and make objects look further away which you cannot see the Tesla does loose traction around the bend and go into the other lane. I slowed down because this driver is careless and I am simply going to work no reason for me to chase him down, and again was simply joking and pointing out his fast, unusual and unsafe maneuvers in a joking manner. It is unsafe to get angry or an ego on a bike because you can make errors or put yourself in danger so i joke and stay back. I am glad to hear you support new vloggers, but in the most respectful way possible. This isn’t support, and simply assuming on your behalf without prior knowledge. Last but not least have you taken an MSF? and what do you ride?
@@motolexi Hard to get over just backwards? That's fine, it's all working towards the right practice yeah? I have to go between my cars on the driveway and hit a small dip, you just get used to it, for better, or worse, hopefully better. Mmm, it was just the nature of videos about right now, there's a lot of the old SnowCat behavior going about, that little snippet painted it so for someone that has been watching motovlogs for over 10 years. The opp thing is just so wild to me, lol.. but I digress, I feel that. I missed Illinois lights having a 2 sec interval where all lights are red, people can make their turns if stuck in an intersection. I just mean lean as in, hanging a bit more off the bike, and giving more room to maneuver. It's angle vs your position, my last 500 didn't care as much but the new ninja500 loves it. It's more like.. know how to use it if you need it as backup, idk about you, but people ride ass here, even if you're on a bike. I did take my MSF through Honda, I scored amazingly on braking. It doesn't stop someone running a red light. I got t-boned a five years ago, and am riding again. Again, I ride the Ninja 500 SE, just sharing my thoughts on the same bike since algorithm hit me. Can you timestamp the tesla losing traction, there's plenty here in SoCal, I just didn't see that last comment. Thank you for replying though, hope all as been well since.
