I normally cut most of the climbing out because it is like watching paint dry, but the drone got some good clips and adds to the experience in my opinion. Scenic AF.
Thanks to inspiration I got from you and your excellent videos, I had a tremendous three days in Fruita last weekend! Really love your vids - no music, just the pure experience!
My favorite trail! LOVE Zippity Do Dah. Took me a few minutes to grow the cajones for that descent at 6:08, but I did it. Great footage, man. Your use of multiple POVs is unrivaled.
I had the pleasure of riding 18 Road during a four day trip out West last October. The smooth flow trails were a welcome sight after riding Horsethief, The Whole Enchilada and Ahab. Those trail systems sold me on the West. I can't wait to pack up and move there!
Bro, great riding!!!! That drone footage makes it extra sick. Nice work with all the splicing and edits. I feel like i'm at a f@ckin imax theater. I'm sure thats lots of work. I appreciate it. This video is sick!!!!! Love seeing the sun go down as you ride. It really makes the landscape pop and adds to the effect of the mood. Seriously awesome.
I decided on a trip based off this video and was not disappointed. Next time I might try to get a few more runs in. I went up the west zippity on the first run, that was a bit more work than expected haha. Those switchback rocky climbs going to the top (right before the downhill) took a lot out of me. Keep up the awesome videos. Maybe my next trip will be inspired by you again!
I grew up near there and miss it so much. Though mountain biking wasn't really a thing back then. But the scenery is amazing. All we see riding here in the PNW are trees, trees, and trees.
Memories, haven't ridden Zippity Do Dah in so many years. Last time I did it was on a Karpiel Apocalypse with a Risse Champ fork. Way overkill for that trail, but still great fun! Remember finding a small gap jump near there as well.
Karma.. I mentioned Zippity in a comment for the last video you put up while riding PBR. Loose and some really steep climbs, but fast flow once you get some elevation. There are so many good trails to just keep shuttling from trail head to trail head within 20-30 miles of each other. Fruita/GJ is a hidden gem.
Awsome! Amazing trail. I wish we have places like this over here in the country where I live. It seems too carefully prepared for the rriders. Really nice. Thanks for sharing.
Great job, what a fun smooth trail, and the lighting was superb. I was sure I had ridden that years ago but it didn't look familiar, oh well, just have to make another trip out west.
That looks sick. Great camera work and editing. Agree with including some climbing to help appreciate overall terrain. Wish I didn't live 13,000km away Down Under.
I hope the chamber of commerce is sponsoring you for these videos. My wife and I are looking to get there in the early fall. Looks like great riding 👍🏻
I'm planning my vacation and I was looking for exactly a place like the one you showed. a trail with a wonderful view like this one. thank you so much for sharing your ride and your work with us! how many miles is this route approximately? what drone did you use for filming? thanks again! Best bike video I've ever seen
What drones did you use? One looks like a Mavic Pro. Heading in that way from the Carolina’s this fall. Hopefully I’ll get to ride the trail!! Awesome video!!
