Love Ridley , his films can be a bit hit and miss but i really like his fundemental reason for making them . Loved the 2001 reference.

I love most of his films. The Gladiator , The Kingdom of Heaven, The Last Duel are three of my favorite films ever. Period. Then there’s the powerhouse of Alien. I loved Duellists. I like Robin Hood and black Hawk Down. I love Thelma and Louise and Matchstick Men. Martian is epic

Hell, when you think about it, even his misses are hits. Because the main attraction of a movie, for the director anyway, lies in the conception of it. Because once a director makes a movie and it gets shown all over the world, then he has essentially taken the grain of his truth, and planted it in the minds of everyone else. So when they see that movie and carry the impression of it back into the corner of their own little existence, and word of it, or more correctly the effect it has, spreads abroad, into minds, hearts and lives, then he ceases to be a director at that point, and becomes something much greater. Like an industry, or even a way of life, because then his movie, just by the power it exerts over people, causes it to become a part of popular culture. When that happens, a director transcends his movies, and almost becomes like a minor divinity. Living within and beyond the created reality of his movie world. At that point, his truth becomes our truth. Then when his name is spoken, there is a sort of reverence attached to it.

Disney and fox, let mr. Scott do Alien Awakaning (or whatever its gonna be called). The world of alien/aliens need that, and the prometheus and covenant saga needs a third an a final film. its so important for si-fi history that mr. scott dose this movie. He has already done three alien movies,. Despite that the follow up to covenant feels more relevant than ever. Alien, Prometheus, Covenant and now, Awakaing.

I Really hope Ridley will made Alien Awakening and will understand that he begin an epic saga who will stand for ever in the history of humanity. So ... He will made his best movie ever made, because he deserve it as we. And ... an other thing important to understand his that there is no god. There is nothing when U die. Life only serve something else, something disinterested which gives us the illusion of the opposite, because we have reached a physiological stage where we think the reverse and because deep down, the goal of all life, and to go against this who gave birth to him. As a child needs to refuse what gave him life in order to be able to appropriate the world in its own way and understand it, all life forms need to refuse its death in order to be able to understand it. However, once finished, unfortunately, everything that makes up a body returns to its initial state. Once dead, will the cells that made up a human body remember or endure the memory of the physical state it was in before? No. The notion of consciousness is an illusion and it is something else that is going on behind it all. How to understand the world if it is not basically consciousness its ultimate goal? These are the questions that must be answered and I dare to hope that the film will try to answer them because fundamentally, there is nothing closer to this disillusion than the Alien. A form of life as evolved as possible which, however, is the carrier of death. Would it be precisely because all this does not reside once again in consciousness, in unconsciousness or any other wrong view of religions, which fundamentally, out of egoism, were invented by man, for man and not by any form of life other than man. I hope awakening answers it Oh ... And ... the most important as Alien is. Awakening MUST BE an real epic HORROR movie, like Alien 1 was. I think you'll agree that prometheus and covenant was not ... at all ... it was teenage movie. Why ? Because behind theses scarry horrific sensation, a message can be the vehicule like no other
