It’s a PTARMIGAN ( member of the grouse family). Native to mountain region here in Scotland 🏴 Only has white plumage during winter. It does however, have its fabulous red eyebrows all year long !!!
You're so lucky to have one going so close to you! They're some of my favorite birds, absolutely adorable. I call them mountain chicken due to the funny way they walk around. Their flight sound is also very distinctive. They look very similar to their highland counterpart lagopus muta (can't remember english name) during winter, besides that they have "eyeliners" while this species does not.
I hear "Awebo" which is a form of "A huevo" which in mexican spanish is a regional slang to say "Oh yeah" or something like that, to affirm something in an informal and intense way.
Oh myyyyyyy I love them!!!! 😭 the unbelievably adorable appearance or the unjustifiably silly vocalisation ?? Cannot make up my mind what’s making me love this bird so much.
Such a beautiful and unique bird. Never knew about it before this video. But I am unable to understand the language of comments. Could someone please add info in English?
Per Google translate: In the winter of 2013, one might come across such a rogue on a ski trip. Camera Practika DVC 14.1 HDMI. The language is Finnish; the bird is a Willow Ptarmigan
I can give the right info about this bird, basically its called "Sandgrous", in snow season if on its eggs parents cant travel to normal weather, and if this isnt on their eggs pair of parents travel to warm and normal weather countries also change their feather into brown, so they can travel to sandy and mountain area so they can camouflage, its natural and GOD gifted for this bird. This bird has only 3 fingures and cant sit on trees, can eat and swallow tiny stones if not find seed food.
@@baberbehzadbugti519 No, this is not a sandgrouse, it's a willow ptarmigan, and they do not migrate, but instead they stay in the North through the whole year. In winter they change their plumage to whole white to camouflage in the snow.
Who on earth would think those are real eyes haha they look almost too theatrical to be true. Maybe that's why those slaying brows exist in the first place
Paistiksiko mielit? Lintupaisti taitaakin olla vielä kokematta. Nätti lintu varsinkin talvivaatteeissa. Pitänee yrittää bongailla seuraavalla Kuusamon reissulla.
