Megtooth Sith Sabers yeah I’ve seen that one and it looks great. Honestly a saber is a saber. I definitely say if people want to start off in the hobby either go to Sabertrio, Ultrasabers, or even Saberforge. They are good starters in my opinion.

@@tjcrooms Definitely a bit more affordable than the custom hilt kits, which can be a bit pricey even empty, but the custom built sabers certainly have far greater functionality.

Megtooth Sith Sabers oh yeah for sure. I think I spent about $550 on my MHS saber commission. And it will be another $135 for a neopixel blade. So $685 for my saber. It’s my last saber for a long while.

@@tjcroomsWhen you're commissioning them, they can get pricey. If you really like them, maybe you should learn to build them yourself, and save a little bit of cash. Most of the saber installers only make about 200 bucks per saber, and considering the time,tools, and talent involved in what can be a 10-36 hours worth of work, 200 bucks is kind of a bargain. For instance, on my recent sale listing for the starkiller, I have 40 hours of work into that saber. My costs for labor were 300 dollars on that saber. That is $7.50/hour. Not a very good way to make a living, unless you enjoy doing it, which I do. I like building cool sabers and making people smile, I'm not getting rich from them, that is for sure.

Its brand new technology. Designed by Thexter (of TRA and FX Sabers) implemented and improved upon by both Thexter and Fredrik Hubinette. Then the rest of us have been collaborating making smoothswing sounds that work on the algorithms. Meh...i kinda like that hilt design as a base for improvements....and only when its a bright polished finished, not blackened. Also.....that style hilt needs a shiny brass or steel angled emitter shroud, sleeved over the existing one to look awesome.

IMHO Whoever buys US has no idea what they are buying and the kind of people they are buying it from.

@@LadySythe I certainly would have preferred a different hilt for this level of install, but sometimes I have to deal with what they send me. Don't think I'll do another one.

I have the same hilt in silver. Got it with emerald/sound. With a 32 heavy blade its actuslly quite nice. Not bad for 75 bucks in a mystery box.

this is a custom built neopixel strip dsaber. The connectors are hidden on end of blade and inside hilt. Way better than galaxys edge saber.

@@MegtoothSithSabers I'm sure they are. Yours does not use the LEDs is what I'm asking about. You use the LEDs strips in the blade instead causing the up and down effect. That is great. I'll have to look into that particular set-up. How do I go about getting a price on a empty hilt and the components? I would rather build one than order one from the other companies.

@@ShootnTexasStyle The custom saber shop, the saber armory dot com, and korbanth dot com are good places to start. To build your own will cost 400 to 1000 or more in parts, depending upon what you buy.

its possible. Installs are 250 plus parts. Neopixel blade is another 150. Costs will be clise to 650 usd total for the upgrade.

@@Da5thSith not interested in such an install. Proffie core is a chineseum solution that doesnt fit every hilt. I will have to pass.

your entire saber would need to be gutted, and re installed, plus you need a blade. Kind estimate parts and labor and blade will be at least 700. Im not takung co.missikns roght now anyway, but uou have to replace e everything in your hilt. its expensive, youd be better off buying a neopixel saber to begin with.

If the saber is functioning currently, 12 custom presets are 50. Each additional preset request is 45 after the 12. You provide the fonts you want on there.

us/sf conversions are a complete gut, and re-install, plus ypu need a blade. Blade alone is 160. My installs are 250 plus parts.

My batter holder broke and I can’t fix it and I want to replace to smooth swing and RGB and a neopixel and my retention screw got stripped and I had to super glue the blade into the top of the hilt and it’s all messed up and I’m just devastated it’s my first and only a table right now and I really love it, it’s a bellicose and it’s so perfect of a hilt for me it hasn’t left my side sense I got it and I’m having somewhat of a mental breakdown about it not being usable and I’m lost on what to do and I really need help on what to buy and where to buy it and for Simone to help me out is my only hope!

@@insaiyandude3285 Repairing the current battery sled is not really an option. If you want to convert it to Proffie with neopixels and smoothswing, you're going to have to completely gut the saber, and rebuild the internals. You're going to have to remove the blade from the saber, superglue there was a big mistake, and that will be a mess to undo. You can simply re-tap a larger retention screw in the same hole since the threads were stripped. You can buy all the guts for the saber that you need at www.thecustomsabershop.com. MHS V6 Chassis works in UltraSabers. The only thing you can't buy at TCSS is the Proffie Board. You can get them from www.thesaberarmory.com or electronics123.com. You will also need a micro SD Card for the Proffie. I highly suggest joining the group "open source sabers" on facebook or www.therebelarmory.com if you intend on doing this work yourself so you can learn more. I have a lot of tuturials on my page for building sabers that will be helpful for you. I cannot take on this commission right now because I'm busy. Hope this helps! Tom

I sell lightsabers as I make them. 2 pre christmas sabers coming out soon. I dont have a store per se, Im just one guy doing thus as a hobby.

I have held and installed smaller diameter sabers. Personally, I like mhs. For smaller diameter sabers, I'm partial to dark force custom sabers.

People normally ship the hilts to me that they want installed. I don't sell sabers usually, I install them. Simple install is 250 plus parts.
