Great cover mike! This is in my opinion the hardest song in grade 5 due to the fast pushes and verse as a tricky hi hat rhythm. But I’m taking this for my exam because it is the coolest song and you have helped a lot!
Thank you for all your videos! I go to classes for my grade but definitely watch these over and over when practising at home! Music knows no boundaries! From India!
Hy there. Ive been searching for a long time for the sheet music of Riff Raff. Is there any possibillity to share the sheet music? Would be great if anyone has it for me?! Thanks Robin
Hi Robin, thanks for watching. This is from Trinity Rock and Pop Drums Grade 5, so the score is available in the Trinity Rock and Pop Grade 5 book! It's available here: www.amazon.co.uk/Trinity-College-London-Drums-Grade/dp/0857366432/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_14_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=C2SNKFSWBWB52DTRFEX8 Cheers! Mike :)
Hi man, thanks for watching, no that's not compulsory! Not certain what you mean by "one beat less", but no what I played matched the written part - note that there's only only cymbal hit notated at bar 101, unlike the other previous instances where there's a crash with the kick both times on those hits. Cheers!
Yes, I use Mixcder Wirless Active Noise cancelling headphones - amzn.to/2n2HTPA (my video review is here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qQiWrpNF0YE.html) I also use Vic firth Drummer's Heaphones - amzn.to/2nTIwuE Cheers Ryan!
Hi Martin, thanks for watching. As per the title, this video is a demo of the drum part as it appears in the Trinity Rock and Pop Drum Grade 5 book, and I record these videos as a reference for drum students preparing for their exams. The drum parts are sometimes different from the originals, to fit the requirements of the Grade level. You’re right that Phil Rudd plays eighths in the original song. Cheers!
@@bakihanma644 Not in this version - As the title says, this video is a demo of the version of this song that appears in the Trinity Rock and Pop Grade 5 book, recorded as a reference for my students (and others) studying this for their exams. I'm playing the part as it's written in the book. Cheers!
