Do you think that this amp will have enough power to play on a live situation? I can always compensate with in-ear system, but I want to make sure that this amp is loud enough to keep up with the drummer and bass.

I have the iron Ball and will be getting the Fireball tonight to A/B. I will say that the Ironball will probably have more balls in a band context due to the full size power tube (6l6 vs el84). I'm fully expecting the Fireball to blow the Ironball out of the water.

@@adiaz1337 let me two things when you compare them: Which sounds ballsier and louder. Which has the warmer, most attack-y and full bodied clean channel to take pedals like fuzzes and overdrives (at low gain settings). That would be great info, man. Cheers!

I first thought it's a "large price tag" aswell but i think i paid around 850€ and actually it's one of my best gear purchases ever. I'm glad i bought this instead of wasting more money on "cheaper" amps.

ENGL Fireball is honestly my favourite amp of all time. No bullshit, all tone. I had a 100 and sold it like a fucking idiot. If you play metal, this amp is for you.

Man I don't know what it is but Engl amps are just so damn perfect sounding to me. They have become my favorite brand surpassing Mesa and Peavey! I agree also, they don't need a boost! Also, I always find myself playing that same machine head riff when I'm testing out amps!

I had a mesa mark 5:35 and the same ENGL in the video. The ENGL is inspiring and less work dialing in tones etc... I sold my MESA last week on reverb. 🤣

What machine head riff are you talking about? Is this Intro Riff he's playing here a Machine Head song? I apologize. I'm sure that this question seems silly to most of you guys but I'm mostly an acoustic artist, but this riff makes me want to buy an Engle, Solar, and abandon the campfire melodies

That's Engl quality as well. It's crazy how you don't need that much power to play in a room. Even 25 W would quite enough to do a small gig. Nice video Olaé

I've got the big version of this, the 100 watt, and it's only a few hundred dollars more, and all you need to do is put the the lead gain on four, and the, "chug" is incredible on this thing. The low end is absolutely beautiful, and articulate, the mids are amazing, highs...well...you get the point.

The best thing to do, in my opinion, is save the extra few hundred bucks, and just grab the 💯 watt version. The bigger brother has everything this one has, except for the built in attenuator. The 100 watt version blows my dual, and triple rectifier out of the water in my opinion.

Great Stuff! Still, Fireball25 costs 845€ while Fireball100 costs 1190€ i mean if you can afford the 25Watt you can most likely afford the 100Watt if you're not a Bedroom Player.

OIa, I have an Ironball. Is there any significant difference in the gain sound on the Fireball? Does it have more gain? The Ironball has a LOT of gain as it is.

I own the Ironball 25, very similar features and very versatile. I really love this amp. I’ve sold all other physical amps, using plugins but kept the ironball because it is just a small kick ass sounding amp!

I remember when I saw a clip on RU-vid (ages ago!) where Jeff Loomis played through an ENGL Fireball...and that's why I have one now. Not the best cleans, but the rhythm tone is just awesome!

I’m really thinking about picking up a fireball but have never played through a 25 watt tube head. I was looking at the Fireball 100 as well obviously.I only have my 100 watt Marshall head for volume reference. Is 25 watts plenty loud to use for band practice/performances? Plenty loud to be heard over an acoustic drumset rocking out? Thanks in advance for the advice here!

You should start a side series where every rig of the week you do, you crank the amp up as loud as it can go and see how many DB it is. Wether or it’s a big amp or a small amp. It would basically be a side segmented. I’m sure your subscribers could come up with a good name.

i hate metal,an shred so damn bad, cant you play some classic blues rock, skynyrd, deep purple, zz top etc..anything that dont come from the pits of hell lol, it all sounds the same,like black sabbath vol 4...supernaut etc...but they didnt overdo it an i seen them many years ago,an was good...anything without the metal guitar,please...as i mentioned..

Tonally its all subjective- dynamically is super important- Engls in general have the fast tracking, great for clarity (Vht, Diezel, Splawn as well) if you want to hear your mistakes/ become a better player you just can't go wrong with an Engl. Im hoping this fireball will compare well to the Savage.

Oddly enough, regarding mistakes, I’ve found that most people say that ENGLs are most forgiving on sloppy playing. I’m not sure I agree with that assessment.

@@ordohereticus3427 i guess that depends on the player and what they are trying to achieve tonally, what techniques are employed, and at what speed they are playing, and if it all translates in a live band/ stage volume. As a guitarist I'm always asking my drummer his opinions and thoughts about the clarity/ translation of riffs (as most our material is over 250 bpm) and his opinion after hearing countless amps/cabs/pickups is stick with the Engl Savage. Diezel dmoll being close 2nd, then vht pitbull being in 3rd. Just my experience anyway from the brutal tech death standpoint.

Ola, so very nice to hear you play composition. Someone mentioned it sounded like a song that's already out there. That makes no difference to me. I mean zero disrespect when I say this, but you tend to just do the same chug over an over when testing equipment. When you do what you've done here, and may toss in a short lead, it really displays the sound of the amp. I want to go out and buy one of these now. No Sh*t! Keep up the good work. Metal Man
