Once you get to a 31 inch tire(or larger). You need to have it mounted for easy access, due to the weight of the tire/rim. I purchased the Rig'd for my 4Runner. It was a pain to re-route the camera(I purchased the extra camera and wires, left the factory camera in place), but I am impressed with the entire set up.
Very nice, thanks for sharing! Look forward to seeing some videos of it on the trails. Not so sure you need a matching wheel, it's just a spare, maybe a cool cover instead to save some money?
there's no way to clear a small space for the camera in the back? I'm lookin to get something like this lol My spare definitely won't fit under the truck but I gotta have it.
what brand of topper is that? i just got a skycamp 2.0, which brought me to this video, and i was wondering how having that on the short cbi bed rack was working for you in terms of the overhang. wondering if i should just skip the bed rack and go for the hard topper.
Are you referring the hitch mount. Corrosion, you must not have ever tried to remove a hitch that's been inserted to a few years. Also the lock or pressure bolt thing does move, it's what applies load to keepnit sturdy.
unless it is welded, it is a moving part. You don't want this thing to weld itself after a few months. No grease, good luck taking it off after just 1 month :D
@@Beacon_Offroad I hope you choose to make more videos. You've got just the right kind of energy/presence for this subject matter. I hope you do more on the Tacoma as well.
