The dance moves reminds me of Falco's running dance in Der Kommisar music video. Such brilliant music this duo produced! So wonderfully European, Italians singing in Spanish. Nothing like the 80s.

Well, I'm not Italian so I don't understand Italian and the subtitles are only translated into English and I'm French-speaking Belgian. If I understood correctly at 2:50 the interviewer says they are ugly. But why ? Plus I see a lot of comments saying they don't like the interviewer. He really calls them ugly and if so, why?

I also really like their styles, it reminds me of the 50s and 60s for Vamos la playa. Here it's less in a 50s style in this video (the long big coats and the 2 ties like back to the future) But it's still great in my opinion. Without understanding Italian, the interviewer seems quite haughty to me. Looks like he's making fun of them but trying to seem nice

2:02 Does he like Mussolini????? - I regret that I don't understand Italian, but it's cool to watch this video.
@IzaaculateMixes
@IzaaculateMixes 3 месяца назад
I believe he said his favorite italian president was Alessandro Pertini. Which was the opposite of Mussolini pretty much as he was a socialist and an anti-fascist. They talk of being inspired by the futurist movement in their songs thematically in the sense of technology and electronics which they reflected that also in their fashion choices for their appearances. At the time in the 80s, the postmodern design was emerging as an art style. Which is what Righeira used in their fashion design a lot, with Italian furniture designers at the time like Ettore Sottsass (of Memphis Milano) influencing postmodernism within furniture design. But i guess postmodernism and futurism were a bit similar in the sense of seeking a technologically advanced future a modern future, as postmodernism was a reaction to the modernism movement. But the futurist movement is the first time it kinda portrays that and dates way back when Mussolini was around right before WW1. But essentially Mussolini was influencing a lot of futurists at the time with Fascism and then when WW1 started the two active members of the movement were killed ending an era of futurism. But obviously for Righeira it isn’t about the political part of it that they like, it’s more about the art and how technology is our future. Mussolini as a political influence basically killed the futurist movement off with Fascism. Pertini back then when he became president was beloved by many and brought much hope for the future of Italians. Hope that makes sense.
