Thanks for this brilliant video. I suffer from right side thigh pain that started about 3 weeks ago and usually is in the form of a band running across the mid of thigh. I will surly try the tips that you have provided and give you the feedback.
One reason for arms and legs to be always bent while driving is that in an unfortunate event of a crash, the impact/force should not get transferred totally to your joints.
*The 10-10 position is way too old and a little troublesome while driving through heavy traffics* *The 9-3 position is the best for all kinds of roads and traffic, gives you more grip and scope to react to any situation in a matter of second* *BTW nice explanation and woah great car*
thank you. I have looked many videos how to adjust my driver seat. The point is, my car has too many adjustments - up, down, forward, backward, tilt drom front ja back, angle adjustment ect. And i really have not found a way to adjust it so I have confortable with my hands on wheel and my legs at the same time and not to make my spine hurt when i have to drive for three or more hours. After looking YOUR VIDEO, I first adjusted see seat back angle to be comfortable (the seat was all back and all down) , then I adjusted the hight, then the tilt of the steering wheel to see all the setting in there anf then I adjusted the seat back and forvard adjustmet to make my legs and hands in comfortable position
Only for high ended car, with some very basic knowledge. What about regular run of the mill cars with no lumber support function and a bucket seat (i20)? Extremely uncomfortable for long run. Was expecting such suggestions...
@@Mohankkrish It's not your fault, if you u are illiterate. But don't feel inferiority complex if you don't know the distance of Mars. It is 99.309 million kms from earth.
What about leg to thigh pain in learning to drive but after a while I start getting thigh like leg pain idk if its cause I need to adjust the seat more or I'm not positioning my foot properly
my problem is that im a very big and tal guyh and i drive s very small car so there is no comfortable way to drive, best i can do is to adjust all to the max, but adjusting aoll to the max in my car is not enough, since i have very long legs my knees hit my steering wheel contantly wich is just the worst

Please suggest for cars which have long clutch throw. I own a jeep compass and i am facing this issue. The clutch is soft but it goes way long inside and it makes driving in traffic very difficult.
Really nice video, thanks for making it. Just one point though, 10-10 isn't actually good position for hands on the wheel. If the airbag blows, the hands at this position will be pushed back directly on to the driver face. 9-3 is more comfortable. Well these days there are interactive buttons on the wheel, and people usually place their hand so that their thumb reaches the button, which is mostly 9-3. Thanks for the other information though.
Yes, I stopped sitting on my wallet and it cured my sciatica! I no longer even carry a wallet but have a small pocket on my cell phone case for ID, cards and a little cash. On long drives I find it can help to occasionally adjust my seating position to avoid discomfort.
I just discovered , sitting upright in the car is best posture , ...your butt should touch the vertical part of the seat .and not in the middle of the seat ( I mean not leaning back)...Because of kidney disease I had swelling on my ankles , i noticed when I don't drive that much on my job , swelling is little , but on busy days of delivering job ,swelling gets worse... then I chose not to lean back when driving and sit upright, no more swelling even on a busy day...I guess when you lean back , it stretches your kidneys or put pressure on them . it seems
I am trying to adjust my car seat as my comfortablity but somehow I am not able to. It's my first car and I feel like, I can definitely adjust anyway, I want but somehow I am not able to decide what is more comfortable for me 😔
The seat adjustment should be done in a way that you do not feel any stress in your arms, shoulders and legs. Try different positions for 15-20 Kms and see which position is the most comfortable
