Bachelor of CS is a 4-yr university degree. Excluding those from Quebec, the famous ones are U. of Alberta, U. of Waterloo, U. of Toronto, and U. of Ottawa. They have AI research. The main thing is to get hired in your first professional job. Afterwards, they care less and less about your school, and more towards your experience.

Choose your province before the college. Ontario PNP (OINP) is tougher than most provinces. This is unless you are in a prioritized occupation, qualified for category-based Express Entry.

LaSalle College is well known in Montreal; it's been around for a long time. "Specialization in Business Information Technology" is PGWP-eligible; please check DLI List to confirm that you are taking the right program. Quebec has its own Express Entry which is different from federal Express Entry. You should learn more about Quebec's immigration system. Quebec plans to admit 50,000 new PR's in 2024.

Montreal has excellent public transit system (bus, metro, REM, and rail). You don't need to live near LaSalle College. Montreal is a unique city in North America with French only signs everywhere (except in Chinatown where Chinese is displayed). Montreal is a bilingual city; you can survive with English only. Starting in Fall 2024, students need to take 5 French Second Language classes to graduate (check with LaSalle College).

@@Tahirrazashaikh Employers value Master degree more than PG Diploma. You can find a job if you have experience from India. If you can find a job in IT, IT is a prioritized occupation so you qualify for STEM category Express Entry draws with lower CRS cutoffs. Last draw had CRS cutoff at 486. Another way is study 2-yr Master degree instead. There is OINP Masters Graduate Stream; no job offer required to apply. Check out OINP Masters Graduate Stream.
