I was there all last week. It's was very HOT, and people were walking with infants in the hot sun. Ambulances were busy on the strip here & there with sick ppl that didn't feel well. Stay hydrated Rick
It’s 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon. In cooler weather there’d easily be twice as many walking and more traffic on the Strip. And darn it all, they’re on vacation!
@@michaelbell75 actually I'm headed to Vegas on Tues so been keeping an eye on the weather and officially it hit 118 at the airport today which is what they go by. I have been in 118 before does not burn your skin if your just walking short distances. Have a great day.
@@stevenrunyon170 I live here and watching local news the past hour. It was officially 120 today, new all time high. It's still 118 now at 6:48pm. It will be cooled down to 107-110 when you are here, lucky you!
I cancelled my Vegas trip today because of the heat. I rescheduled for 2 weeks from now. Hope the temp gets to the low 100s. 120 is simple not enjoyable at all
my sister was there last week. Went to the Sphere for the dead-head band. She loved that. Didn't like the $21 Margaritas at the hotel. Thats too f-ing hot.
I lived in Palm Springs, CA for some of their hottest summers ever and now Im here in Vegas for record breaking heat, lucky me. What I dont understand about Vegas is why they dont have misters. They are all over Palm Springs and keep the temps like 15 degrees cooler when you are under them. Not having them out here is just dumb.
Doesnt matter. 120 degrees is insanely hot. Worse than mid 90s with 60% humidity. You also dont feel like you are being burned alive in humidity either.
The reason it is so hot from my understanding is Las Vegas is no longer The Meadows as it is called. Too much concrete and no one can have grass anymore or swimming pools. Too many people too fast and too much regulation.
