Right-Wing Loser’s PATHETIC Attempt To Troll ‘Woke’ Bookstore Backfires BIG TIME

Right-wing theocratic influencer Ethan Schmidt walks into a Barnes & Noble and asks if the store has an LGBTQ section for children. He is relieved when the employee tells him that they do not, but he wants to investigate for himself anyways. After calling the pride-themed section in the store stupid, an employee recognizes him and masterfully asks him and his friend to leave the store immediately.
Later, Ethan walks up to a park ranger and asks him why he is wearing what he refers to as a "face diaper." The park ranger says that he is wearing a mask to avoid inhaling metal debris, then tells the guy to get out of his face.

The saddest thing about this dude is this is probably a desperate attempt for him to get attention. Hate watching is the lowest possible hanging fruit - it's literally fallen to the ground and been rotting there for 8 weeks - so because he doesn't have the skills or talent to get attention by being good at something, this is what he resorts to. I'm sure these are still his deeply held beliefs, but doesn't change that he still craves attention, and has no means to get it authentically.

Masks taught my industry quite a bit. I'm a pet groomer, and when we grind nails or use the velocity dryer on a dog, nail dust, dirt, dander, and fur fly everywhere. In the past, we've used things like beekeeping hats and safety goggles to keep hair out of our eyes, but most salons didn't prioritize groomers' lungs. Once we started using masks, they became a recurring tool for many groomers, in spite of the fact that they get absolutely covered with hair, so we have to change them out pretty often. My lung health has never been better, so I say it's worth it, COVID, or no.

Some dudes think they're macho or something because they don't use PPE or follow safety precautions but the ones who harrass strangers for wearing masks are on a completely different level. He chose the youngest female employee he was comfortable to talk to her like this because most likely he is older than her. As soon as an older women spoke to him who knows won’t put up with his BS he got quite, lied to her on what he was talking about with the younger lady and left. Usually religious parents teach there younger children to be respectful to their elders and the respect just stays with them. It’s the tone and language that he uses gives it away. This an example how a women defends another women an a subtle way. And a guy pretending not to understand.

Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you. That Christ nowhere condemned being gay and that condemnation or Criminalising people with homosexual tendencies is an injustice. Christ spoke of the old narrow minded interpretations of the Scriptures. His view was an inclusive one. People like the two guys in this video don't dislike homosexuality for Biblical reasons, but for political ones. That is how I see it.

Due to mask mandates, I discovered masks are useful in spring time, to help against seasonal allergies, and street dust, that comes from sweeping sand/gravel that was used for icy roads during winter. Also effects the "seasonal flue" in autumn months were less severe due to masks... I'll most likely wear masks every spring, and autumn, due to how much better general life was because of them.

So, when they see or hear information regarding masks and COVID, they get all prissy: "SEE?! MASKS DON'T DO ANYTHING!!!" It's because they have a short-term, selfish point-of-view. Masks are usually a long-term thing, and they're meant to protect others from the person wearing the mask. In effect, the masked sick person should be the last person to get sick because their mask prevents them from being a transmission vector. Fortunately, nowadays, there are enough reasonable, rational adults that we can do without masks.

Sam, I have seen this video with the ranger before. I commented about my own experience of similar events. I have been going through chemo and radiation. I lost my hair and was really sick. Of course, I had to wear a mask every day. People would approach me at the grocery store, casino, and shops. They would ask me why I was wearing a mask. I would take off the scarf covering my bald head and say "what"? You should have been there every time. It was so funny watching them back peddling. It was very entertaining!😂

When I am writing short stories and other written media I don't particularly like using 'they' as a singular pronoun. It is fine in some cases, but there are times when it lacks clarity in a scene. But if someone else wants to be called by a particular set of pronouns I'm fine with whatever. I have no reason to disrespect other humans or try to make anyone feel bad. If someone refers to me as 'they' I just politely say, "I prefer not to be called they".

my daughters friend didn't know she was gay until sophomore year in college. She dated a guy for 2 years and struggled feeling that something wasn't right. She was confused for a long time. I suspect that what he is doing is fighting hard against what he knows he is. This seems like a lot of compensation and trying really hard to convince himself more than anyone else. It must be really hard to be trapped in a religious Dogma it makes you feel like if you are gay then you are a bad person. Even when I was a rabid fundamentalist I could never go along with the anti-gay thing because I spotted it for what it really was. Fake moralization - getting people to feel important and special by creating boogeyman "others" for them to look down on. I hated it because it discouraged people from focusing on their own spiritual growth, it provided a cop-out and also invited bigots into the church. It was having a lesbian friend and later a gay friend that really helped me to leave the church and it's dogma in the rear view mirror. Any time I heard religious bigotry, all I could think of was my friends and how untrue it was, how happy they were and how nobody had a right to take that from them, especially in the name of a loving god. I can also say with authority that those who claim to love god but support anti lgbtq bigotry don't know god at all. If they did, they would let god speak and focus on THEIR own sins instead.

"Didn't know" is probably not the best way to put it, specially not that late in her life. I can only talk about my life experience ofc, but I was gay even before I knew what sex or sexual orientation was. I just felt "attracted" to men, as young as 6-8 years old. Yea the difference is certain people choose to do that, certainly not everybody being forced like kids, old people, and people with asthma or breathing problems just to get some food..
