His beautiful sound was known in the 60's as "blue-eyed soul". His voice draws out emotions now, almost 60 years later, as much as it did then. Your reaction is priceless!!!

Bobby owns this song. No sang it better than he did. I was in high school when I watched him sing this beautiful song on the Andy Williams show in 1965. No auto tunes, just pure raw talent. His voice was so awesome! You need to listen to their other hits! RIP Bobby ❤️ ❤❤❤

Can we all just agree on one thing? If artists had to sing without auto tune and all the fancy gadgets, what would they really sound like? Definitely not like this. This is a bygone era where pure talent was the selling point. The sickest (best) part of this version of the song is how it looks like he wasn’t even trying.

Katy Perry is a huge star I remember getting dragged to one of her concerts by an ex and honestly she was absolutely horrendous, all stage production and shining lights. She had good mics and backing singers but she herself was genuinely embarrassing. She's rich lol.

Hard to believe had he lived he would be 83 this year. he died at age 63 in 2003 in Kalamazoo MI in a hotel while on tour with Bill Meldey, the other "Righteous Brother." I almost bought tickets to that show as it was only an hour from my house. the next morning I cried when I heard the news on the radio...i grew up on this kind of music in the 1960's . I grew up to be a music teacher. I love how you girls just melted in your chairs hahhahaha, especially the one on my right...I could tell by the look on your face hahahaha. Exactly how the girls from 58 years ago reacted!! this was more of an adult music variety show [Andy Williams] which is why the crowd only applauded but on other teenager-like shows the girls would scream.

Hard to believe from watching this that Bobby threw up before these performances from stage fright. Sadly Bobby died from cocaine abuse but he always managed to pull himself together to perform for us

The medical Examiner findings stated he died of an undiagnosed heat condition causing heart attack. Possibly brought on by cocaine use. He didn't overdose. Do not ruin this amazing singers reputation.

Bobby did not die of cocaine abuse!!!!! He died from coronary heart disease. His arteries were 96% blocked.
