Rigid Industries has once again changed the game when it comes to lightbars. The Adapt features 8 selectable beam patterns ranging from 90 degree short range flood to 15 degree long range spot lights all from the dash controller. The optional GPS module can automatically change the beam pattern on the Adapt based on the speed of the vehicle.

can't wait for a real demo of these light bars, detailed in a real scenario outdoors, while comparing at least 2 or 3 different sizes against other models.

Very cool product, but holy cow, the price!

Great Light bar and I'm glad to see more of the RBG coming to the scene (thank you Razer lol). But, I'm still in favor of the J5 Quadratech Lightbar. I just love those amber lights and it gives the Jeep a really "truck-like" look.

so why do I need rgb on my jeep.. But that is cool, it can spot or flood. But there are cheeper, reliable lights that have a spot and flood feature combined. Why by this?

great video up to the trail test, then a big ol fail for not showing a POV shot...doesn't matter though, I'd trade my JK in for a Prius before I'd spend that kind of dough on some lights

Awesome video as usual Rob. Is it me or does it seem that they don't appear to have decent range? It could just be the camera angle

hey Rigid, you should design a light bar that can adjust the level of the light. noticed the narrower the beam it doesn't shine farther down the trail. so when light is aimed low, its kinda useless to change from spot to flood. should take a little a R/C car servo hooked to a gyro so it could adjust while driving, or a mode you can lock at whatever angle you want. when you go over a rock or anything and nose is aimed to the sky, the gyro would see the angle change and adjust the light. could add to your $$$$ list of parts

It’s like an all-terrain tire. Expensive. Can do multiple things. But isn’t great at any of those things.

What app is used to control the lights if any?? I can’t consistently figure out how to change the color on mine

It’s “cool” but this light bar seems to have a lot of features that you have to pay for but probably wouldn’t use a lot. Also why can I pick up and old wrangler for less money than a 50” light bar? The world may never know.

Range looked weak. Expect more for 800 bucks

Try $2,799.99 for the 50" Adapt light bar.

The video was pretty informative but you only had one shot of the lights being used but they want 3k for you to see for yourself? At least show a drivers view of what night time driving looks like.

As cool as these are, they're probably mostly to be found on mall crawlers. Can't justify a grand for a little light bar on my bumper mount. Maybe if these get cheaper they'll be a consideration. Kudos for an extremely cool product, however.

There will be $1500 jeeps running out there with $3000 lights. The product is "cool" but that is it. Not practical in function and definitely not on your wallet. The same could be achieved with an assortment of lights under $400. Im sure Rigid has a good business/marketing plan but I would think targeting the market at volume rather that few exepensvie units would be better but who knows.

800 for the 10in and you still don't get all of the features... there's still some that are add-ons? come on man you better hurry up Baja Designs is dragging you down the road

You need the gps unit for the speed function. That's pretty dumb. No thanks.
@HydeMyJekyll
@HydeMyJekyll 5 лет назад
seems like they could tap into the existing speedometer to tell it speed
@thorn3686
@thorn3686 5 лет назад
It's a Universal Bar, so it won't read any specific speedometer output...hence the GPS function, the ability to have it change automatically from flood to spot as your speed increases, and back as you slow down. Pretty damn innovative and pricey. I just bought the 40" for my X3 Mav. And of course you don't have to use that function if you don't want

Interesting concept, but probably useless 90% of the time. They also look like ask mounted to the bumper, and I'm sure they're way overpriced like all of rigid's stuff.
